What can I use instead of Lovage? After reading about it on ELR, it doesn't sound like something I would enjoy.

Hey KC there is no sub for Lovage here, and at 0.25% it’s potent stuff. You could just leave it out or try a couple drops of Alpine SB, either way it will be a totally different recipe. I think I may try it with the Alpine…

@KC. Zen garden would be an alternative but as @Rocky Toony said - removing a core ingredient makes a different recipe.

KC, depends on how much You like the Alpine. 0.25% is 4 drops of Alpine per 30ml (which actually comes out to 0.28%) and that’s the Max I use it at, but I like it. I am gonna remix this with the Alpine sub, but will be a couple days until I get to it and then a 3day steep..

I have Lovage Root coming in the mail. When I clicked on the link above, you mentioned the test recipe was horrid?? That sucks and I am so sorry! Soon Rocky, I will be able to try this! Thanks again, as always.
