Just a random thought that I had a while back, and no real time to flush out. Obviously the VC II is the star of the show, but how to manipulate it, into something DIFFERENT. What WOULD you call this one ??
Hehe, see, it's complicated. Two biscuits along with the Shortbread Cookie to add a nice "bakery base", the Ripe Coco is an attempt to PUSH the custard JUST a bit, but NOT to turn it into a Coco Custard, and an "experiment" using OOO MM Vanilla as a thickening agent, to increase thickness and mouthfeel just a tad, without adding a MM flavor.
This IS not, and WAS not done, and 24 Down means, I've already tossed 24 DOWN the drain. Enjoy my failures, and maybe one day, it'll be DONE, done.
Mmm....only you know where you're going with this but it puts me in mind of Chef's Vapour Nice Custard Cream. A non heavy custard with that Danish Butter Cookie in the background with the ever so subtle coconut note. I realize that's not what you're trying to do but it jolts my memory of it.
Hehe, yes, it's a mystery @muth. I got this profile in my head, quite a while back, and just started tossing things into the pot. The idea was to hit a lighter Custard for the hotter months, that wasn't as thick and rich as you might vape in the colder months. I've used the Biscuit, Caramel Biscuit, and Shortbread together before, as bakery-ish base, and they paired well. The Ripe Coconut was just there to spark a little interest, and add depth as well as a little punch, but not enough to pull the whole thing directly into a Coco Custard as that was not my desire. The OOO MM Vanilla is quite an interesting flavor, and on "25 Down" we'll see if it makes the cut, hehe.
@D.Sims I'm not sure if I sent you this one or not, as it's lived it's life of shame in the private realm, BUT, in encouragement of a newer mixer/poster on the forums, I decided to shed light on it, to encourage him.
