Chinese Milk Candy is a beloved Chinese New Year candy. In Chinese it is called “Niu Zha Tang牛轧糖”. It is so sweet, creamy, nutty, a bit gooey.
It’s usually made with just three ingredients: marshmallow, milk powder and peanuts although assorted flavors may include Matcha · Strawberry Almond · Tiramisu. This recipe is so full and delicious as is, but as you can see this recipe is also fully customizable.. add some chocolate for a nougat candy bar taste and / or some cookie for a crunchy texture.
