Retested at 1 week steep really good, but the cream cheese got a bit lost in the mix, not sure if boosting it up will overrun the delicious bagel flavor, but I may just leave it as-is...
I meant to ask too I've been using cap golden butter lately (sparingly) how is that compared to cap and no caps is really strong thank you for any help
Hey DaMoN, malt is a sweetener with a distinct toasted, caramel-like, fruity flavor, there are loads of foods using malt that you probably don’t even know about including NY style bagels.
VSO flavors are natural extracts and the Butter is as close to real butter as you can get, it’s stronger than Caps but I use Cap Golden Butter up to 3%.
