Buttery cookies in rich vanilla cream- a tasty treat! Enjoyable off the shake..even better after a few days. I couldn’t let my sample steep that long. Yummo!
This really needs 14 days to completely come together. I’ve been vaping it on day 10 but gets better with age!
@Apathy really? Hmmm, I’m sorry. There is a lot of DAAP in this recipe. I suppose if you’re sensitive to it it might not steep out for you enough. Wayne said the mix was almost too Daapy for him at 2 weeks. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it bud.
**Cookie Crack Butter (Lynda Marie) 13% (6-24-20)** -- NOW, when I tested CAP's Cookie Crumble I didn't get as much of a Cookie OR Crumble, BUT, I was immediately reminded of Monlinberry's Butter My Biscuit, with the predominant notes being Biscuits and Butter. It WAS the main driver in this recipe, and that was FINE with me !!!!! The other two cookies played second fiddle TO the CAP CC, but were not buried, and still added their cookie-ness to the mix. The Custard, and Vanilla added a super SMOOTH middle carrier that rode JUST below the buttery biscuit cookie-ness. The Marshmallow Vanilla and Vanilla Pudding worked to further fatten up the mix, and WOW.
Now she had said one tester felt they could only get butter from it, and although it IS buttery, there is a LOT more going on there. I think two weeks steep should be manditory to give it time to settle and mesh. All in, a VERY creamy, rich, buttery recipe that presented as FAR more than the sum of it's parts, and really turned into something NEW and UNIQUE, and that's not easy to do. What other recipe does it taste like ?? Ummmm, NONE. A biscuity, buttery, rich desert-ish vape, that was swirling with compliexity, and DID keep you coming back for more.
Really loved this one Lynda. Everything comes together nicely after 10 or so days. Now if you could only "crack" Taruto for me, then I will have lived! 5 Stars.
@OlSlowPoke Thank you so much, I’m glad you liked it! Ahhhh Taruto is my all time #1 commercial liquid.. there is a recipe for it here on ELR somewhere.
I had everything except OOO's marshmallow vanilla, because Bull City doesn't carry it and that was my last order.
It is in a dark cabinet and I'll wait 2 weeks.
I must say, smelling it while making it? Very yummy smell.
Okay so I lied, I loaded a tank at 2 days. It was hilarious, it tasted like someone swept the floor at an auto garage, like new tires and motor oil. But I'm smart enough to know that the ingredients need to negotiate.
I wouldn't even bother with it until at least 10 days, at day 5 it shows potential, at day ten it is damn good, I'm on day 11, and its atill improving.
It throws rich, luxurious clouds, and there's three different flavors in your mouth at the same time; butter, cookie, and almost a pudding.
I have about 10 or 12 "sacred recipes", ones that have their own drawer, and this will become one of those.
I almost want to drop like .5 banana cream or strawberry just to mess with it, because it has such a winning taste.
Finally cracked this open after 15 day steep and I do have to say it’s fantastic! I had to sub the cookie biscotti with biscotti but the end result was great! Thank you Lynda Marie for a great recipe!
@Fogchef I’m glad, in the end, you liked the recipe. It’s definitely takes time. I’ve been making 4-5 bottles at a time because it just gets better. Thank you for your review, 😃
I just saw your post about this on ATF and immediately searched for it here. Yay, I'm glad I found it and even more glad I have the flavors on hand. I can never have too much of anything vanilla and creamy. Thx for posting it, Lynda.
Don't have CAP Cookie Crumble so subbed WF Cookie Butter and 3 days in it is delicious. Is it worth it to pick up the Cookie Crumble? Great recipe Lynda, thank you!
@mjag In my opinion, yes, cap cookie crumble is a pretty brilliant concentrate that has many uses, I’d try picking up a 10 ml..it’s a main player in this. I’m glad you enjoy it with cookie butter! Sounds good, I’ll have to try it with that!
Wow what a recipe this is!! I made it exactly as written and gave it a good month’s steep and it is absolutely amazing. This is the most buttery e liquid that I’ve ever tasted and it’s going straight into my permanent rotation, you will never hear me complain that an e liquid is too DAAPY as they are the only type of e liquid recipes in my book. Thank you so much for creating and sharing this wonderful recipe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yup, really good, thank you Lynda. The 50mls I mixed disappeared in no time. I’m getting an unexpected but welcome coconut note coming through on the wicks after about 20off or so.
I’m thinking of trying an oatmeal cookie version by subbing 1% FA Cookie for 2% FA Oatmeal Cookie. What do you think?
@CamV6 I think that sounds amazing! I love Fa Oatmeal cookie, it’s brilliant and I think it’ll work well because it’s got a great “crunch” texture like Fa Cookie does. I think I’ll try that as well, and of course keep it private until you publish it. Sounds great. Thank you for the kind words!
I finally got all the flavors a week or so back, I was waiting on vanilla MM, so badly wanted to make this but it takes time to get flavors from the U K to N Z. .
So what I did was pre steep the cookie, vanilla and custard 😂 and added my MM a few days ago, 😱 AMAZING!!! that powdery sugar finish and body from the MM just tops it off. WOW great Job @Lynda. Such a fantastic recipe, that could also be tweaked in little ways, like the oatmeal cookie idea, just one little thing and you could re use this main recipe time after time
I M O. I think this would also be a nice with a tiny bit of butter toffee base lol might push it over in richness, but I love how rich it already is, it's perfect the way it is! Just the most decadent vape I've ever had, chefs kiss 👌🏼
Thank you @Lynda Marie ❤
I mixed this up and was pretty disappointed ots. I knew it needed to rest for a bit but I just couldn't see how this was going to improve enough to like it. After 2 weeks it was better but still not great. I really kind of gave up and figured the rest would get dumped. Fast forward to almost 4 weeks and something magical happened for me. The buttery vanilla cookie (almost like an undercooked dough?) appeared and I was blown away! I got a thick, creamy delicious cookie drowned in buttery cream with a crazy kind of powder finish? I can't really explain it but it is so delicious. I will never doubt you again, Lynda! :-) 5 stars easily.
@Ninjaberrycc I’m so glad you have it a chance. Definitely a little overwhelming for some people even after 2 weeks. I have some steeped over 2 months, and it only gets better. I know people despise steepers, but sometimes it’s just worth it. That “powdery “ I think is the cookie crumble.
@DOXIE Yay! I’m so happy you like it! I do have a pb cookie crack, and I just mixed an RY4 version with a couple of changes using the new ultimate ry4. It’s steeping now :)
@Apathy The pb one is really good! Johnnie Johnson just mixed a 500 ml first time mixing it 🫣 I hope he likes it! If you enjoy pb, I think you’ll enjoy it. Both versions need a good steep.
Lynda, hope you & yours are doing well. I'm curious to do the PB one, did you just add a pnut butter to this recipe? Or maybe I'm just overlooking it, but I'm not seeing a pb cookie crack recipe? Sorry I'm probably just not seeing it lol... or maybe ya just added some ccw & ssa pnut butter?
Good Lord Lynda. Wow! Capella should sponsor you because I bought everything I didn't already own - even super sweet - just to make this recipe. Mixed up the day that package came in, tested it the next day but the crumble was overpowering everything; Forgot about it for almost 3 months and I just tried this with my new Narda Rda. This just blew my hair off. Oh my goodness!
The popcorn taste and smell people are getting is definitely from Caps creamy vanilla. If you’re someone like me that has somewhat of an older bottle (4 months or more) that creamy vanilla taste and smells like rotten milk or even popcorn butter smell. I just wanted to put that out there for people.
@Etiztime The buttered popcorn smell is most likely coming from the DAAP-ier concentrates like cookie premium and custard premium. I have a bottle of creamy vanilla that is older than 4 months and doesn’t smell like rotten milk.
So good! The first few times I mixed this, I didn't let it fully steep because couldn't resist tasting it but I finally left one alone for 30 days and it's delicious! I just mixed up another 120ml
Another guilty as charged, didn't let this steep (hot water bath). It is very good already, but looking forward to taste its evolution as time goes by. I went ahead and made a 120ml to let it properly steep. Keep up the great work Lynda!!!
.if not ill make one up! hee hee!
