If you have never tried SSA's Caramel Biscuit, you NEED TO. It is a stellar one shot all by itself. Layer in two SSA Ice Creams on top of that, with a pinch of FA Cookie to bolster the "crunch".
Finally someone put this in ice cream, I know this will be good.
It's so good to see it's not just me that likes 1.65% - it leaves you wanting more but not so much that it gets too muddy or too little that you NEED more. Exact same percentage I came to for my stroopwafel mix.
This one is fantastic, if you don't own SSA caramel biscuit - get it.
Great recipe SD. I didn't have either SSA Ice creams, so I used FW @ 2% and WF ButterPecan cream @2 % because it's a little weak. I finished that in 2 days, so the next time I added Dulce de Leche Caramel (TPA) at 1% and somehow that boosted the saturation level and really brought out everything. 10 day steep and it's unbelievable. I had to cut my NIC % in half because I was vaping it so much.
Another Platinum hit from the great session drummer.
I know it needs a few days to settle but to be honest this is brilliant off the shake, thanks so much for sharing this recipe SD🙏
I’ve added some Solub Arome caramel and it’s heaven. Finally a great caramel/cookie flavor!
You're very welcome @Schnappi, and I always appreciate feedback. I hadn't tried to re-mix or change this one since it was published. I will admit to looking on my Solub racks for a Caramel. :)
Just got around to trying this. Wasn't fond of the taste...I've never had this b4. Put it away tried it several times in the next 10 days and Nah... pulled it out again 5 days later and damn its delicious! Mixed as written. Thx SD
This is definitely a good recipe, but I recommend that anyone who mixes it, try it without the SSA Ice Cream. You get much more of the caramel coming through without it. You get plenty of ice cream with the Whipped Cream and Ice Cream Vanilla. That's just with my RDA, which is an Apocalypse. Maybe it tastes different in other RDA's.
