My grandmother made this beloved pie when I was a kid every Thanksgiving. I remember her making this pie the entire day before Thanksgiving. After her passing my mom didn't have the recipe but tried a few times to recreate it but wasn't the same. I may not have the recipe for the real thing but I think I finally recreated the recipe in ejuice form..When I finally perfected this recipe I was instantly met with flashbacks of all the flavor notes eating grandma's pie. Her sweet potato pie (get your mind out the gutter).
This isn't your avg sweet potato pie. It's starts out with a buttery gingerbread pie crust. Sitting on top is a mouthwatering brown sugar rich sweetpotato . Then topped off with a almost maple rich butter pecan topping.
I thought about how I can hit so many notes with 5 flavors and knew I'd have to pick flavors that can do double duty in not only playing in a single not role but enhance features of the other flavors. Using the flv caramel aka brown sugar really helped to cook the sweetpotato and remove the tart slight rawness of the yam. The gingerbread was used low so it don't overpowering the other notes but adds overall baked note to the overall flavor and creates that perfect pH balance in your mouth which is very important as the pH inside our mouth lends to how the mind perceives the flavor. This is version v3.3 in testing. My goal was to have every flavor note shine throughout the vape and not just being a Mashup of flavor. If you eating a complex pie you should be able to taste this part and that part throughout a bite. The slight gingerbread hits first followed by a rich maple brown sugar pecan then the sweetpotato ramps up going from buttery to sweet to a full sweetpotato left on your tongue.
Going a bit higher in the sweetener the usual wasn't for the intent on just making the juice more sweet. I noticed how the sweetener was working with the notes and what it does here is highlight the star which is the yams on the exhale and giving you a lasting star taste in your mouth just as the real pie does. When you eat a sweet potato pie your getting a flavor explosion of all the spices and brown sugar but left with pure sweet potato at the end. With that said though sweeten to your liking
If you like marshmallow it's good with 2 percent tpa Toasted mm added.
ALL flavors can be sourced at Bull city. Recommend 70 30 mix and 7 - 10 day steep.
