French toast and cinnamon pastry are my bread base. Cinnamon pastry is boosting the bread/bakery the French toast lacks, while also adding a gentle cinnamon . I used INW custard for the egg mixture.I’ve used Flv caramel for my brown sugar. And last but not least, the vanilla sauce I’ve used shisha vanilla and and cream cheese icing. Whipped cream is blending and lending a smooth silky mouthfeel.
To make my bread pudding- I take “day old” hearty bread, like hala, sweet bread or Italian. I break it up into pieces and in a separate bowl I mix eggs, cream and brown sugar/cinnamon, whisk it and pour over the bread. Bake it and top with some type of vanilla glaze or powdered sugar and whipped cream. Almost like French toast casserole, plus or minus maple.
Yum, I love bread pudding. I don't have the WF but I do have Cinnamon Roll (OOO). Maybe I'll find a nice currant to add to this? Thx for the share, Lynda Marie
@muth OoO cinnamon roll would work ok. For me, that’s a complete Cinna roll minus icing. It’s a toss up between that and FW. This came together great. The FT blossoms on day 7-8! Currants sound good for this. Let me know what you do with it!
