This....this is delicious. Has quite a bite to it (aka throat hit) on the first hit after re-dripping, mellows out slightly afterwards. Testing at 60 watts on a dual 24 gauge coil on a Mutation X V4 with a Sigelei 150. Just mixed. I'm curious to see how it turns out after steeping, because it's damn well delicious right now just after mixing! Unfortunately I doubt it'll make it to the steeped point. It'll be gone!
Thanks for the comments! Here's some things I've been doing differently with it lately: FA RY4 at the same % has a cleaner taste IMO, TFA's sometimes gives me a chemical taste like scotch tape. The cinnamon can be a bit much sometimes, it's just as good at 4%. 2% Cap Vanilla Custard (v1) is nice to fill it out and smooth some harsh edges, and 1% of FA Joy adds some yeast and sugar that is perfect in this recipe.
Just pulled this out of the drawer after I forgot about it for a couple months. This stuff is rich and flavorful. Not an ADV for me but a nice treat with a beer. Let it sit and become a reserve, this shit is the bomb.
TFA butterscotch works great, never tried the FW version. As for the cinnamon bakery element, CAP CDS has been my fave and I've tried Cinn Danish TFA, Cinn Roll FW, Cinn churro FW, Cinn Cookie TFA, and Cinn Coffee Cake CAP (I come back to this recipe a lot). In other recipes on the net it's 6/6/6% and it's really strong but still great.
I hear ya. If you're okay with the diketone consumption, you should really pick up some FW Butterscotch. It is head and shoulders above all other brands, and it's cheap. But it is loaded.
If you look at the Reddit thread I linked, the 6/6/6 thing was a comment I made that it would be fitting for something called Deadly Sin, although I never actually made it that way. Some are already turned off by 5% CDS, so I went the other way with it in my v2 and lowered it to 4%.
Never tried the real DS before; nor have I ever made a clone of it. But, I read DS is very very similar to Uncle Junk's Jon Wayne..which is one of my top favorite juices. So I def have to try these clone recipes out.
mixed 30ml just over 2 months ago. Used only 2.5% Cinnamon Danish Swirl, and found the cinnamon too strong for my taste. Even after 2 months the cinnamon has lightened but gives me too much throat hit. The supporting flavors develop nicely and a good vape if you like cinnamon.
Give it 3 weeks and it's the boom
week 1: to harsh.
week 2: the chemical taste is still strong but it is vapable.
week 3: everything is blended nicely... it's smooth and sweet.
main note is the Danish followed by the other 2 flavors.
well done!!!
I mixed this up at 70%VG and it's incredible even freshly made. I have had Deadly Sin (quite a bit) in the past but to me your recipe is way better than the actual Deadly Sin, thanks for all the work you put into this.
I love Kriga's V2 recipe (I didn't try V1 though).
My brother was vaping a bottle of real Sugar Drizzle when I first tested the V2 batch (after a good 2 week steep). And, coincidentally, Kriga's V2 tasted very very similar, if not better and more flavorful, than the real Sugar Drizzle. I wasn't expecting that (I wasn't even planning to do any comparisons; but, the Sugar Drizzle was around during my testing and it tasted similar).
Just made this, and Shake and Vaped it. My first DIY bottle. Tastes Awesome! Used 5% FA Butterscotch, 4% CAP CDS, and 5% FA RY4 at 3mg 40/60. Thanks Kriga!
This is our clubs NO.1 ADV Thanks so much for the recipe - 5 Stars. Unlike so many others we don't sub any ingredients...we just get the ones people use or wait. No changes should be made to this simple rich tasty vape. Thumbs up emoji !!
Thnx for thies great recipe, its close to the original one but something is missing. I made almost a liter of this recipe Great job.
I like this the most after a minimum steep of 8-9 weeks.
I never tested the original DS bu this one will become one of my ADV.
