The Mixers Almanac challenge #1

Control flavor : Apple
fruit pair : Plum
Misc pair : Almond & Brandy
Profile : Caramel

Thought I would give this challenge a crack despite not having a clue what I am doing or in depth knowledge of flavors. The Amaretto and the Tobacco are two flavors I have not ever used.
I have had tobacco on the mind for some time and the list helped construct what should be together. I knew that a fruity alcoholic was what I was after so plum and brandy I thought would compliment both apple and tobacco. The Amaretto was bit of a wildcard but I figured it should play with the brandy and help maintain a liqor note.
The apple butter was added in theory to add a bit of weight to the apple and a bit of moisture overall. I was unsure how dry the tobacco might be.
Off the shake I was pretty surprised, The fruits where quite prevalent along with the brandy and quite pleasing. By day 5 the fruits had sat down and the almond was starting to show its head.
Overall I find it to be a pleasant experience and will probably blow through the 30ml I made before it has time to mature.
I would be happy enough to leave this as is although maybe it could be tweaked in the future to sustain the plum and perhaps boost the caramel.Not sure if that would make it better or just different.
