Combining the components of my two favorite desserts, I tried to marry the flavors but yet still be able to distinguish between the two, getting the density of the shortcake and strawberries on the inhale and the burst of tartness of the yogurt, freshness of the strawberries, and smooth creamy finish on the exhale. With one of my versions I added a couple drops of garden mint SSA and it was a very good addition however, I left it out of the final mix as I already had quite a few flavors involved in this recipe.
I did all testing on my Elder Dragon with a Tri-Core Alien and Upland reserve cotton @ 60W.
SD, I wanted something dense for the cake foundation and actually considered Philadelphia butter cake as part of it but during a test batch I noticed that took away from the profile I was looking for.
Lynda Marie, the bane of my mixing adventure, always missing a flavor! lol 😆 Thank you for your nice comment, coming from a mixer such as yourself means so much to me!
Great job on this TimWV, sorry for the delay getting over here to rate it. Very full and saturated and the most layered recipe I tested out of all, I’m getting a sweet delicious strawberry shortcake with a pretty dang tasty cream, the Greek Yogurt works wonders with the strawberries and I think the addition of Cheesecake Olympus really put this over the top. Hits good right at 60W per the notes!
