A German desert, Apricot Kuchen is a simple butter cake filled with pieces of plump dried apricot and a bit of cinnamon and almond extract.
Apricots are complimented by peach which I needed because the Apricot was getting a bit lost. Almond Cookie and Cinnamon Roll added to the bakery and nut/spice element. Vanilla Custard Cheesecake for moistness and to hit all the components that this German desert has.
Brown Sugar and Brandy creates a baked fruit/caramelized effect.
I think the mix has promise but needs some adjustments which I made but didn't have a chance to retest. Without the constraints I would make other changes but without the rules of TMA, I probably would not have even thought of this. That's the benefit!
