I was re-watching an old episode of Developed on YT (the Tres Leche episode to be exact) and I had a lightbulb moment. I have been looking to do something with SSA Lemon Pound Cake and I thought why not pair it with FW Tres Leche and make a Limón Tres Leche cake.
While selecting these flavors I thought on how to keep the amount of flavors used to a minimum while still gaining access to a multitude of flavors and textures. So to start I wanted to use SSA Lemon Pound Cake even though when I originally SFT it I didn't have a lot of good things that I liked. I thought originally to pair it with Cap sugar cookie V2 but settled on Cap Sugar Cookie. And to help boost the Lemon flavor slightly while adding a custard like feel I chose to use WF Lemon Custard. Now a Tres Leche is a sort of milky/creamy cake so I decided to use FW Tres Leche to bring more to the creamy cake along with a condensed milk and milky flavor that FW Tres Leche has.
Now because I had recently purged all of my flavors (as in a have no single flavors only premixed one-shots) I decided to stick with Bull city flavors as I can purchase and receive these flavors sooner. So because VT Vanilla Cream and VT Sweet Cream isn't available at BC I decided to use INW Vanilla Cream and TPA Sweet Cream as my Chantilly cream to top the Tres Leche. A little bit of a sweetener helps to sweeten both the cake, lemon flavor, and the Chantilly cream.
