Key lime filling with a hint of bakery rolled in fruity pebbles.

absolutely loved Bams Cannoli original- a key lime cannoli topped with fruity pebbles that didn’t have a pronounced bakery. With that said, I’ve been wanting a creamy key lime vape- so here is my version.

I didn’t want cinnamon or spice notes, so cannoli shell was out. I didn’t want the bakery to stick out, so since fruity flakes has a cereal grainy texture, I thought Fa cookie low to boost the fruit flakes and graham cracker to blend those, would work nicely for a subtle bakery. I really enjoy key lime pie TPA but the lime is rather subdued, so key lime natural kicks it up a notch giving it a little tang. For the filling- since I don’t have a ricotta concentrate, and I didn’t want cheesecake vibes, I went with custard. I didn’t want eggy, so TPA with its creamy smooth qualities with a nice vanilla, add Bavarian cream for more body, and to smooth out any acidity and a hint of cream cheese to sweeten the mix.

This needs a steep for the citrus to settle in. If you don’t want to use fruity flakes because of the “bad stuff”, just know, if you sub, you’ll loose the cereal texture that fruity flakes has.
