Right after mixing it doesn't taste bad, it reminds me of something. It reminds me of like, some kind of fragrant spice. AH HAH. it reminds me of the topping on tastycake coffee cakes! It's stronger though. It definitely reminds of a flavor that's in tastycake coffeecakes. I have to wonder if this is the flavor they use. It'll be interesting to see how this changes as it steeps.

Totally tastes like the topping on tastycake coffee cakes. it's thick, sweet and creamy. I think paired with the right flavors this could be a tastycake coffee cake liquid. Maybe even passible as that by itself.

I think this got stronger? Still tastes just like the topping on tastycake coffee cakes.

This mix smells EXACTLY like I just opened a pack of tastycake coffee cakes. Still tastes like the topping on them too. Seems a little "strong" Maybe the right type of cream paired with it could make a tastycake coffee cake e liquid. It's very nice. This one seems to be vapable pretty quick. I haven't detected much change in its flavor. The flavor seems strong residually, after I've dripped it onto my coils it sticks around a bit.

This tastes like its gotten more mellow today. Still has that signature tastycake koffeekake taste, its not as pungent though. I could even go as far to say it tastes like the actual cupcake as well as the topping. It's been a while since I've eaten one, but they were my favorite.

I'm very curious to try this for culinary use in a cupcake recipe. Not sure if the cake part in those cupcakes has this flavoring added or it just permeates from the topping. A swiss meringue (not adding butter to make it buttercream) would be the perfect sweet fluffy cream texture injected into the cakes for the filling. I'm sure the tastycake crumble topping doesn't use real butter, for a more authentic flavor I would test out using a very neutral shortening or something with this flavor added to create a sort of dough that could be extruded through a cheese grater or something and sprinkled onto the cupcake batter before baking. Maybe add a very small amount of the flavor to the cupcake part, a bit of artificial vanilla as well.

Back again for day 5 after mixing. It's still smelling like koffeekakes. Still tastes just about the same as yesterday. I can also understand why it's hard to pair with anything. It's got it's own unique flavor. I'm not exactly sure what flavor I would want to physically add to one of these cupcakes in person.... Overall if you like tastykake coffeekakes you might wanna give this a try.

I love the way this smells. The taste seems more even to me today. It's nice, very smooth. Not dry. The more pungent top note seems to have mellowed a bit. I can think of how to describe the flavor other than "tastykake koffeekake." It's nice. I dig it.

Not much to say today.

Still smells the same. Tastes the same. For anyone who's never had these, they don't have any coffee flavor despite the name. I just can't really describe what the flavor really is, I can't think of anything to compare it to.

Taste the same, still the same strength. I still can't really think of what the pair this with. I I think this flavor would be hard to pair without totally altering its original profile. I'm getting some new flavors soon, I will single test to see if any of them may be compatible.
