Made this over a year ago but forgot to make it public on ELR, so here it is. :)
In order from most used to least in the original Dinner Lady - Lemon Tart: Malic Acid, Vanillin, Citral, Acetyl Pyrazine, Lime
Just saying, but none of the clones/remixes on here or ATF come close to the original. Why hasn't anyone read the ingredients on a DLLT bottle and started to work from there? Well, the list is above.
Malic acid comes from the FA Apple Pie
Vanillin comes from a few different concentrates within.
What cookie would you say would be an acceptable sub for cnv? I’m thinking if I used Fa cookie I could leave out the AP, but I’m not sure what type of cookie cnv is, sugar cookie, shortbread cookie or just plain cookie (like FA)? Looks good and smart thinking! I’d love to mix this but like always, I’m missing one thing.

Hey Lynda, unfortunately there is NO sub for any of the CNV ingredients. I've literally tried ALL of the usual suspects. If I had to say something that's kind of similar, I'd have to say Nomz Cookie (Shortbread) at 1.5% would give you the closest match, but not exactly the same.
What the CNV Cookie does, is that when it's mixed with FA Meringue, it passes as either a tart base, OR a cereal base, depending on what it's mixed with. It's a versatile cookie. FA Apple Pie turned this unmistakably into a crust.
