DIY Salted Carameled Ice Cream with a Splash of Bourbon #ELRMarMix ejuice recipe

Alright, alright, alright. Didn't have a lot of time to get into this one due to RL constraints, but I've always wanted to try and perfect an Ice Cream with Salted Caramel, topped with some Bourbon. Have had it a few times at restaurants, but never had the time to hash it out.

Needless to say, I paired up my favorite LB VIC with some TPA Vanilla Swirl for a slightly different "twist", with a hint-o-soft serve, and a touch of FA's Vanilla Bourbon to tweak the Vanilla profile. It's NOT boozey, just somewhat darker. FW's Salted Caramel is really good, BUT, not really salted, paired with FA's Caramel, and FW's BS Ripple for a subtle twist. Added a dash of Saline, but this low it doesn't impart any salty-ness, but trying to open up the flavor receptors just a bit. TPA's Kentucky Bourbon added just for a touch of Bourbon to the mix. Not a mixed drink, just a touch. Super Sweet IS optional as always, BUT, it is Ice Cream after all.

5 stars just looking at it, missing the saline and a couple. Up my alley for sure but I'll throw in a little tobacco after I taste this.

@jbitts, don't sweat the saline. At that low level, it doesn't impart any saltyness, and I was trying to enhance the mix just a bit, by opening up flavor receptors, just like in real food.

@jbitts, I use saline a LOT. IMO it's a very useful ingredient. You can buy 0.9% saline in any pharmacy. Or just make your own. 0.9g table salt to 9.1g distilled water. Just an FYI :)

@SessionDrummer @IggyZ awesome, thanks for the info. I never knew much about saline and thought it was only an old school mixing thing. I'll check it out. Yes as for bacco's I'm thinking either a little ry4, 555 gold, WF vanilla ruyan, FLV cured or turkish, something along those lines will make this mix next level in my book. Just gonna test it out and decide which one.

good evening @SessionDrummer, I would like to mix it but I don't have VIC (LB), what can I replace it with if possible?
I have Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (FW), VIC (FA), and Ice Cream Vanilla (SSA).

Good evening to you too @Cult. You can sub either of those two VIC's for the LB. You'll only miss out on some lighter buttery'ness, which will be fine.
