For the ELR May Mix Along, we were tasked with anything made with Toffee, so here it goes:
Profile: a toffee nut RY4 with accentuated tobacco notes and a nice creamy mouthfeel.
Flavor Notes:
The toffee: for the toffee part of the mix I chose a 1.5:0.5% of FW Toffee Butter and FLV Toffee. If you don't have the FW, the Nomz Toffee Butter is a close second, and very suitable replacement.
The nuts: for the nutty infusion, I used a smidge of FLV Beer Nuts paired with NOMZ - Tobacco Gold, which to me is more a nut with a hint of Bacco. Therefore it's a crucial part of this mix.
The tobacco: for the tobacco TPA RY4 Double seemed to jump out at me because of how well it plays with butterscotches and caramels, so why not toffee?! Well it played nicely, but I wanted a bit more tobacco UMPH, so I added a tiny 0.4% of TPA Western. And don't forget the NOMZ tobacco gold, which was initially used as a nut, but also adds a nice lighter tobacco note.
The cream: for the creaminess (and a bit of sweetness), and to smooth out rough edges I used 1% VTA Sweet Cream, and 0.5% WF Cotton Candy Jelly bean.
IN MY OPINION, this mix doesn't need sweetener, but please sweeten to YOUR taste. If you must, I'd recommend FW or TPA Sweetener. The Citric Acid in Super Sweet has no place in this recipe.
Overall this came out to be a well rounded liquid. It can be shake and vaped, but I don't recommend it. Let it sit for 5-7 days, shaking as often as you remember.
