For the ELR July Mix, we were tasked with a creating a candy recipe which is "chewy". I tried a sour watermelon candy, a sour blue raspberry candy, and a sour peach ring. Of the 3, the peach ring takes the cake. It's smooth, saturated, really tasty, and under 10% total flavor. I'm calling for a 3 day steep because of the WF Sour Gummy Candy. The texture takes a few days to develop, but I saw no further changes after day 5. Please just mix this as-is, and without any substitution. Every flavor has its rightful place in this recipe. Unbelievably so, but this recipe is actually sour! The two WF candy flavors play very well with each other to create this sour feeling in the mix.
