Been a while since I attempted any type of Strawberry Banana. Especially a candy. StrawNana Taffy is just what I'm craving for the July theme.
I started with a stiky Strawberry base. I considered WF Soft Candy Strawberry, but it sometimes gives me a chapstick note depending what it's paired with. Caps Strawberry Taffy is the perfect starting point. When given time it has that classic Taffy taste im looking for but it's light in the Strawberry. So I boosted it with some Strawberry Gummy Candy. More syrupy than Gummy but an excellent Strawberry note so together these make the perfect pair. Just to be safe I added a low percentage of Caps Strawberry Bubblegum. It's got the right "pink" vibe and has a really awesome texture. When used low combined with the others it won't go full Bubblegum.
Next we need our Banana. Nomz Banana Candy isn't your typical Banana Candy but its tasty and it makes for a fantastic additive in all kinds of sticky candy profiles. It needs help in the Banana department so I went with Flavorah. Its a powerhouse and at 1% it's potent and goes full on runts.
Then just to really make sure this stays thick and to add some kind of vanilla esque creamy type of stickiness I added some Marshmallow gooey to bind it all together. This needs a good long steep. 10 days minimum IMO and the longer the better
