Searching through the interwebs for what Pompona vanilla actually is.. Vanilla pompona is a rare species of vanilla orchid native to Mexico and northern South America, known for its large, thick pods and unique flavor profile, which can include notes of butterscotch, chocolate, dried cherry, and rum, along with a characteristic bitterness. It is considered by some to be the first vanilla bean to be recorded by Western explorers and is a source of vanilla flavoring, though it is less common commercially than Vanilla planifolia. I
was also looking for recipe ideas- you can really add pompona vanilla to anything from cakes to dry rubs for meat! I wanted to showcase how the vanilla worked with simple ingredients that didn’t have much vanilla included. INW (eggy custard) plus heavy (buttery) cream lay down my base for the pompona vanilla and some smooth white chocolate, layered with a buttery cookie flavor. This idea was pulled from 2 separate recipes I came across.
Tested on a dead rabbit v2 rda, ni80 tri core aliens- .14. @ 90 watts. A thick, creamy vanilla pudding. Let this steep days to give that vanilla pompona time to settle in.
