Alright, alright, alright. The ELR October Mix-A-Long IS upon us. Apples, and Pears are IT !!!!!!

Now, I WILL admit, to NOT mixing up a lotta Applez, but I do love me some Flavorah Apple Filling though. I decided to use that as the "filling" base, and pair it with the very good Purilum Country Apple. No Fuji, or Double Apples here today folks. The very tasty, but light Flavor Art Pear added in the Pear profile below the apples. The crust-ish base layer was simply a touch of Capella Sugar Cookie, slightly accented by Flavorah's Pastry Zest. A lighter crust layer, but still present. I typically add a binder for some richness, but decided against that, and used some very clean Sobucky Ice Cream Vanilla as a binder AND topper. And yes, hehe, you MUST have the Crumble in a crumble, and Wonder Flavors Crumble Topping just plain works.

After playing around with this one for a while, it felt like it just needed a HINT of something else, and I FOUGHT the urge to cinnamon it up, beyond the light spicy-ness in the Flavorah Apple Filling, and decided to simply add a dash of Flavor Art Caramel, JUST to add another layer.

8 flavors, no sweetener, what do you have to loose. Coming in at a fairly low 9.85%, and yes, you can always add a dash of sweetener if you feel the need.
