A cake base that is flavourful enough to add your favourite fruit, creams and icings to without it getting buried, (unless you over do it).
"Simply cake" is my neutral cake base, a blank canvas we can add other flavours to.
The "Madeleine" adds a light vanilla and a powdered sugar note, plus extra fluffy cake and a touch of butter.
The "corn bread" adds density and richness to the cake, I've used it instead of "yellow cake" for a more interesting flavour.
Added 2 drops of (cap) "super sweet".
