Update V2:
12 day steep test OG MF BB wins for now, gotta try the Silver at 1.0% some time.
This did need a whole 10-12 days to settle. Trying now with a 0.25% bump on both Blueberries, Cinnamon Custard and Jammy Grape.lowered fresh bread by 0.25%
From the internet: "Compote is a simple dessert or sauce made from whole or pieces of fruit cooked in a sugar syrup, often with added spices like cinnamon or vanilla..."
I made 2 test mixes here, one with 0.5% Blueberry (Silver) (MF), and one with 1.0% Blueberry (MF) (the OG version). Everything else is identical in both. I have yet to do a side-by-side test like this, so taking the opportunity here!
The MF/RFSC BB combo is one I've used forever for a vibrant, natural power-punch that can be bent into a candy or dessert easily. Not really a stone, since I tend to set the ratio on whim. And, I used to add NF, but now that diyvs is gone, I'm phasing those out since nobody needs a 2oz bottle of extract in a DIY setting.
Croissant/Fresh Bread layer should give up the full Croissant I was missing with just VTA alone, adding a little yeast, body and (hopefully) more flakyness.
RF Cinnamon Custard for a hint of Cinnamon to add that chef's touch to the Compote mentioned in the description. I normally would use Fresh Baked Bread or Danish NF for this, but...
Sugar Cane/Jammy Grape/SSCap should convert the fresh BBs into a Compote. I have Jammy Berry FLV, but it gives me a plastic note I never could shake at any %, and Grapes are Berries, anyway!
A little steep and I'll know if it needs more Zing!
Happy mixing, everyone, glad I caught this at the start, this time!
