My goal was to create a clear and dominant cheesecake with a defined structure.
The focus was on reducing unnecessary flavors while improving mouthfeel and the separation between layers.
Cheesecake naturally requires a longer steep time. It is quite possible that the recipe may need to be extended with one or two additional flavors depending on personal preference – this is intentionally left open and will be evaluated after steeping.
For the competition, I used raspberry: FlavourArt provides a less sweet, more natural profile, while Raspberry Syrup adds sweetness. Since syrup alone often lacks structure, it is supported by a second raspberry flavor. In this case, the syrup also acts as a light sugar substitute.
Lemon serves as a lift, gently brightening the mix without becoming dominant. Together with the raspberry, it creates a soft, slightly sweet acidity.
The graham/crust note is intentionally kept subtle. After steeping, I expect a well-integrated cheesecake structure with light graham and custard notes.
Depending on how the mix develops during steeping, a small addition of vanillin and/or marshmallow may be beneficial – this will be determined in the final vape test.
Enjoy 🤤
