Alright, I completely missed the Cheesecake Mix-A-Long, but I didn't want to miss two in a row !!!! I'd tried a Watermelon mix out a while back from TBD Liquids, and it was really good, and kind of re-opened my like for the watermelon. It was more of a Rancher Sour Type. This one is less candied, and more realistic with Molinberry's Big Watermelon carrying the main note, with a healthy kick from Purilum's Watermelon The Molinberry is more realistic, and the Purilum is slightly candied. Paired they round out a good juicy watermelon. The TPA SB Ripe helps fill in a little more "red" and juicyness, and the touch of Wonder Flavor's Watermelon Candy (Extra Sour) adds a little sour/tart to give it a little bite, but just a bit. The PUR Super Sweet is optional, but I've tested with and without, and with it did seem to pop a little more.
I was originally going to base it around Medicine Flower's Watermelon, which may just be the most realistic I've tried to date, but a lot of newer mixers don't have MF, so I used, "Plan B".
Get your juicy watermelon on, and don't forget to enter YOURS in this month's Watermelon Mix-A-Long.
