The RFSC and SSA Peaches are for a realistic, sweet juicy Peach, with the FLV set down in the blend for a little pop and texture, helping the Peach not to get drowned by the Cake. Hoping for somewhat desserty and not too candied.
Exotic = Juicy pineapple fruit, combined with exotic mango and the sweetness of apricot. The intense flavor is enhanced by orange and kiwano juice. -SSA. Kiwano is an African fruit, said to taste like a blend of Cucumber, Banana and Lime. I'd like to try it some day!
I'm using Exotic SSA as both a Peach enhancer (Mango/Apricot) and normalcy displacer(huh?) (Pineapple/Kiwano/Orange).
I loves me some Peach flavor, but straight Peach is a bit taxing on the ol' factory. This is hoping to add a touch of something "other" to the mix, without distracting from the main profile.
Black Cherry is there to hang out kind of like on a Pineapple Upside-down Cake, and disrupt the Peachness a bit more. But, this is, decidedly, a Peach Dessert.
Lemon Poundcake is adding that browned edge and a baked Lemon (hopefully) in the background, FLV Poundcake for body and density.
I didn't have anything on hand to give a sugar-glazed type of Icing, so I threw some Buttercream Frosting at it to see if it works. Fingers crossed!
Setting steep time at 7 days, but 3-5 should see it coming together.
Just loaded a 1/2 tank a few hours after mixing, the Lemon Poundcake is sitting a little high in the mix, but should settle down in a day or 2. A few hours steep on a mix like this is naturally going to be weird, just couldn't help myself!! Pretty okay!
