changes suggested by wiki chat last week. needs a steep before deciding exactly what % we end up wanting the cinnamon at. Still pretty tasty off the shake. Mango and cinnamon are a surprising combo...

By day 4 I am more confident 1.5% is a good amount of Cinnamon, the balance of Mango to Cinnamon is great, however I now am thinking we overshot the Sweet Rice at 4%. I did this because its notorious for fading over time. However, I think its muting out some of the vibrancy of the mango. Im hoping if we drop it down to 3.5% or maybe even 3% the Mango will be able to shine through just a bit more and the OVERALL balance of everything will be perfect. Its either that or a slight bump to the Island Mango.. It was suggested to me that the Rice should be the dormant note in a Horchata, which I agree can usually be true, but this is a MANGO Horchata. I want just a bit more of it to be present.

Even having said all of that. This is an absolutely delicious profile, and i still will wait it out at least a full 7 to 10 days before locking in any changes I mentioned.

Update 8/30: long term this actually ended up needing zero changes. Its possible bumping the mango slightly could have helped it shine more. Feel free to try it that way. However, patience was really the key. By two weeks everything balanced out great. The mango started to push through more as the Sweet Rice faded. And now after a full month the Cinnamon seems to have regained more of a bite that compliments the Mango beautifully. The Sweet Rice definitely has dulled out more at the month mark. With a sweet spot within the 2 to 3 week window, but does still maintain enough mouthfeel to round out the profile nicely after that.
