DIY Black vine (The Rochford project) 99% clone. ejuice recipe

This recipe is a collaboration for (speedeevapes) who's idea in the first place, encouragement and help has been invaluable, by (Ricklepick Eddie-1z) whose dedication and meticulous testing methods have gotten us most of the way and (NIL8URBUDZ) who followed along without tasting the OG and mixed a really good recipe called "midnight vine" an ode to "Black vine" and thank you to all who offered comments and followed along.
(Ricklepick) Is working on a slight variation/alternative recipe (there both really close) which he will publish soon.
"Black vine" is a complex blackcurrant forward dark fruits blend with a complimentary tropical feel. The fruits blend in such a way to create a really nice underlying creaminess; it's definitely more than the sum of its parts.
If you're not a fan of grape flavours, the grape is really low and not prominent, (adds to the complexity and overall flavour).
Substitutes..
0.75% (fa) "concord grape" or..
1.5% (cap) "concord grape (Stevia)".
0.5% (cap) "passion fruit".
"Sweetener" to your preferred % and type.

This is the real deal, so close to the original. This (& variations of this) is pretty much all i have vaped in 2026 other than my mixalong recipes & it just doesnt get boring, easy ADV for sure. 100% worth trying especially if you're in the USA & havent been able to try any of the rochford project liquids, this is a VERY good representation of The Rochford Projects - The Black Vine.

What an amazing clone! It has been an incredible journey to get to this point, with what started as a simple question asked in the Clones section of the ELR forum... “Anyone made anything close to The Rochford Project’s Black Vine? What followed was the pulling together of an amazing community of friendly and helpful DIY enthusiasts, ultimately culminating in the collaborative effort of two brilliant individuals, RicklePick-Eddie1z and DJ35. Together, they decided to personally take this on and thrash it out for all to see in the forum linked above, a masterclass of meticulous and methodical reverse engineering of an amazing profile was on full display, with myself and others left to marvel and learn from their wisdom. They had succeeded where I, someone who is new to DIY, had failed so miserably. The only credit I can take is bringing this profile to the fore, the full credit goes to RicklePick-Eddie1z and DJ35 for their amazing work and everyone else that chimed in with help and suggestions, which ultimately led to this successful clone.

This project was also the inspiration of a superb remix “Midnight Vine” by one of the threads contributors, NIL8URBUDZ.
