These were the inspiration for this recipe. I always have to beg the lady at the Chinese restaurant for a handful of these every time I go. If you haven't had them, they're basically just a sweet, almost sour guava candy.
If you guys know me, you know literally 90% of my recipes have some sort of cream in them. I wanted to branch out and make a unique candy flavor this time, and I think I've nailed that down pretty well here.
FLV Pink Guava was my first choice for the base note. It's a super strong flavor, resembling grapefruit if used above 1%. I wanted to keep this flavor at a low percentage and just build other flavors around it.
I thought lime might be an interesting addition, and I've been loving INW Lime for any sort of lime hint in a recipe. It tends to overpower a mix even at .5%, so I stuck with .25% for just that hint that I wanted.
CAP Lemon Lime is just used to boost the citrus flavors. It's a pretty light flavor, and 4% seemed to be right where I wanted it.
INW Dragonfruit helps add uniqueness and boost the tropical flavor a bit.
INW Cactus for juiciness.
FA Fuji for a little more brightness.
If I had to describe this in one word, it would probably be "green".
This mix really got my Eyes open, after four day of steeping it got me saying Yummm Yumm . Great one buddy really good stuff, keep it up coming you got your self A Follower .
This is going to be a great summer vape, I made 10mls of this with the only sub of Lime, I have INW but just got in Favorah and wanted to give it a shot, I instantly made 100 mls. next batch will be a liter! Thanks for sharing.
This is my ADV, and my all time favorite juice. When I first started vaping, I vaped a lot of Triumphant's Pango, and since I started mixing my own, I've wanted a juice that has that same over the top sweet, citral, tangy, in your face goodness that Pango has, but with a more interesting flavor profile, and this is it. NCM- this is a true gem. Thank you!!!!!!
Prickly pear is what got me into DIY, and INW Cactus definitely nails it.
The FLV Pink Guava is perfect at .25%, and works exceedingly well in this recipe. The ensemble is juicy, and ripe on the inhale, and full of exotic, tangy fruit flavors on the exhale. This is definitely going in my rotation.
Unfortunately, I had to make a couple subs:
FA Citrus mix @ 2% for CAP Lemon-Lime
TFA Dragonfruit @ 4% for INW Dragonfruit
TFA Ripe Strawberry @ 1.5% to round out the Dragonfruit and cull the grapefruit from the FA Citrus mix.
INW Lime increased to .35% to compensate for CAP Lemon-Lime
SO I POOPED ALL OVER YOUR RECIPE! That's my fault, and it's clear that I could stand to purchase a few more flavors. Regardless, I'm assuming the original is 5/5.
The first time I mixed this I said the same thing, so my next batch I went from 3nic to 2, and it was the perfect throat hit. Harshness with that much "green" flavor I think is just the nature of the beast. Hope that helps!
Recipes using only fruit ingredients tend to be extremely harsh. U can add cream or what i prefer is adding tfa greek yogurt which rounds out the harsh notes and also sweetens the recipe. If im trying not to alter the flavor much i add about 10 drops(give or take) of yogurt to a 30ml and this tends to be sufficient
I loved this recipe but it was a tad harsh on my taste buds/throat I actually ended up adding 2 drops MTS Wizard (FA) to a 30ml. It was the 3rd time mixing it and the MTS version seemed more "tame" a lot more enjoyable for extended or ADV vaping. I loved NotCharlesManson's Strawberry Shortcake Bar this is another awesome recipe which is nothing short of spot on.
Hi there! Okay I'm completely new here. I just got my first order of flavors and supplies in this morning and was looking for something that said shake and vape because I'm of the impatient sort. =) Anyway, I didn't have everything exactly as written. I subbed Double Apple (CAP) for the Fuji, Sweet Guava (CAP) for the Pink, and unfortunately I simply didn't think to order lime so I swapped it out for some Acai Berry (CAP) It's very tasty with those changes so I'm sure the original recipe is just off the wall insane. I'll order the missing flavors next time and try it out properly. I have to say even with modifying things, and not being an experienced mixer, this one is pretty darned good. Thanks for the starting point, NotCharlesManson. I'm looking forward to trying some of your other recipes too!
I'll stop back and comment again when I try it as it should be. I just wanted to comment in here in case other people were wondering for substitutes that would work.
This is in my standard round of DIY mixes. Thank you so much for your contribution. This is an outstanding vape. I added .13% MTS Vape Wizard. The throat hit is minimal at 3% nic.
Smells just like the candy that you get at the Asian market but my personal preference would be to lower the lime to maybe 0.04 because it's pretty stiff after a week.. jmpp
An Amazing mix!!!!!!!!! mixed 50ml 4 days ago, mixed 300ml tonight gonna leave it with cap off for 24hrs then leave alone for a couple of weeks.... thinking about reducing the cap lemon lime to 2% and adding 0.5%-0.75% inw grapefruit........
thank you for sharing the recipe with us
I did a 3mg version of this with Max VG using nude nicotine brand spanking new and I'm getting the worst throat hit on first 10 puffs or so any suggestions?
Simply delicious. Thanks for sharing NCM...I do have the same throat hit issue and I know that it is neither of my base ingredients (VG/PG/NIC)...I say it again though....this mix is absolutely delicious...five stars
If you can find a sweet guava from any other brand I'd try that also id reduce the lemon lime to 3.5 instead of a 4 and up the Fuji apple to .5 and your sweet guava also to a .5 if you do that lemme know how it turns out! I did this recipe exact except no pg and 3mg nic and it came out harsh on those first 10 to 20 puffs before you get used to it.
@Maidak Ok, so after about a week of putting a few drops of MTS Vape Wizard, and going through a couple of tanks, I believe it has edged out a bit of that harshness and is more vapable now. However, I am unsure if it is also that additional week of steep which may have tamed down the harshness. Either way, I enjoy it way more now. Next time I make a batch of this, I will let it steep for two months and then try it. Hope this helps.
I have a batch that I did that had been steeping about 2 months as of now that I'll be opening up this weekend what's mts vape wizard? You got a link anywhere? Also the first batch I did is roughly same age an still has the bite so I'm really thinking it's that stuff u put in extra
MTS stands for Mellow,Thick & Smooth...It is a FlavourArt offering. Most vendors should stock it. The labeling says MTS Vape Wizard. You need to use it very sparingly, so my advise would be to buy the smallest bottle you can. Its purpose is to tame down some juices which may overwhelm (bite) a particular vaper, as all of us have individual tolerances. Some also use EM/Cotton Candy for this, but that adds a mild sweetening effect too. So, I use MTS when I don't want to sweeten my juice but simply reduce the bite in it. Recommended use for MTS is 1 drop per 10ml. of juice. Also, you should not add it when you are mixing the recipe. Mix your recipe as is first, steep it, vape it and then if you need, add MTS on top. Hope this helps mate.
Very good recipe is probably cut down the fuji a bit to strong for my liking gonna wait a week to see if it cuts the harsh spicy taste out of the recipe. 5stars just because I personally don't like the fuji doesn't mean everyone else doesn't
Delicious! Might be my new favorite juice, very unique and different. Not my usual style flavor but I'm glad I tried it. I mixed it exact to the recipe and wouldn't change a thing. I made 200mLs with freebase nicotine and 30mLs with nicotine salts for pod vapes. I bought some MTS Vape Wizard after reading the comments about it toning down harshness but it is very smooth to me so I didn't use it at all.
This is still an excellent recipe in 2022. The pink guava blends beautifully with the lemon lime. My missus loves it and is pretty much her ADV. Super refreshing.
Thanks for your notes.
