Every summer I make my own elderflower champagne.
Very easy to do just spring water, elder flowers, sugar.
Leave to ferment and decant to sealed bottles. When left alone it becomes naturally fizzy like champagne and is probably the most refreshing summer drink with ice and a slice if lemon.
This is my take on it and if I say so myself is very close to that wonderful drink!
The passion fruit backs up the elderflower beautifully, the pear adds juiciness and some sweetness, the lemon gives a slight freshness and the menthol gives a cooling touch.
