Notes
Inspired by Castle Long Reserve Edition IV,

After making this Liquid, I have added American Oak Chip. Just a little, 8-10 grams probably, to the mix and let it it steep for a week atleast before I try it out.

As you will see in this recipe, I havent added any PG, just whatever comes with the flavours. Keep the VG to max to get some sweetness in it.

Just shaking it once a while, No bathing and breathing

Have you tried making it with FA Oak 1%? That's what I use for Oak flavor in that recipe...

I do have an Oz of OakWood from FA... However I dint really get that hint of flavour we get in Smokey Single Malts Wishkeys... So want to do it real Oakwood chip ... Also FA oakwood gives a datk colouring to the juice requiring frequent coil maintenance.

I don't have a problem with it but I would agree that soaking in Oak Chips would provide a better flavor IMO. The worst coil killers IME is TFA Brown Sugar, FW Yellow cake and Sucralose

Out of curiosity tried this today... The colour darkened a bit, may be because of the oak chips. Flavour wise, it has smothened a little bit... Sweet. I think I am kind of liking it... Coconut has to blend in a little bit... I am still searching for the oaky flavour, may needs more time. Just vaped 2 ml... Its not a ADV but i would definitely prefer as a after meal vape... The roasted almond and vanilla tastes awsome... Will let it steep more and find out !!!

Yea I love some Almond and Vanilla. Anytime I am vaping this though I get more compliments on the smell by non vapers than anything I vape. Non vapers absolutely love the smell of Castle Long, especially women for some reason. I guess it's some kind of liquid wing man.

Sorry, its been a while. Its was almost a month I steeped the liquid with Oak Chips.... The result of steep with oak is awesome, I really got that smokey wood flavors that I experience in my single malts.
Flavors is awesome, I enjoy vaping this flavor.
Only headache that it gices me is I have to change the coil very often. Guess because of brown sugar.

Please share your comments if you have tried it.

Yeah , I mixed it for my girlfriend and she loves it more that the five pawns version she said that she can taste everything now. What I did was I took some bourbon barrel chucks for smokers. washed the outside of the chucks and threw them in a mason jar and topped it off with Vg and waited a month . After that month I heated the vg in the jar in a hot bath of water and used a coffee filter to strain any of the char that may have came off the bourbon barrel chucks . I repeated this process again just to be safe. Then used that vg to mix . I did a side by side test with and without the soaked vg and you can notice a difference . Great mix gave it 5 stars hopes this helps

O yeah I mixed with both fw Madagascar and fa Madagascar . My girlfriend said that the mix I did this time (FA ) didn't kill her coils as fast . May be something in the Fw hurting the coils as well

Yea, it's sugar killing the coils more than likely in the FW.

Long time... thought sharing something..,, I see lot of concerns around brown sugar gunking up the coils... seriously, cant help. I vape on nautilus coils and I have to change the coil every 30 ml I vape... Howver IMO its a trade off on flavour... I kind of feel OK with it... But guys please share if your find alternatives...
