Looks good. I will need to get the fruits but i will try this soon.
#3 by DarkJester89, Apr 10. 2016, 04:17
update: first steeped for about 2 1/2 days, vaped it, it was mostly just apricot, and didn't have the sweetness smell to it, but I made more, doubled the sweet cream to the average usage% to try to overcome the apricot taste, steeping it, day 2 now. cant thank you enough though, its def 98% there
#4 by Granger, Apr 10. 2016, 05:08
Thank you sir it has been awhile since i had it but i knew soon as i tried the tfa fruits together that is for sure what they used this was my first try at cloning it. I am glad you like it.

indeed, this was the juice that got me into DIY, I tried for about 2 months and then figured id go on a pilgrimage and come back to it but chyeah, you got it first haha

Very good try!
But according to MOV they DO NOT have AP in their juices.
So how can we substitute Nectarine??
For the marshmallow we can use FA's at 0.5.
#7 by Granger, Apr 20. 2016, 15:06
You are right they don't have any AP in there juice. I thought about using FA marshmallow instead of TFA i'm sure it would be just as good. I'm not really sure what to sub for nectarine i have not seen any other nectarine flavorings and i've never tasted one i know they are kind of like a orange so maybe a little FA mandarin or FA orange .
#8 by Tommyterror000, Jul 27. 2016, 22:55
Nectarine is related to the peach. Tangerine/mandarin to orange. I don't know of any acceptable replacement. Man, this sure is nice though. I have never had the original, but I do know this is damn tasty. I changed, apricot tfa for fa, from 3 to 1.25%. Much less in your face apricot and a better balance overall. Thanks op!!!

First of all thank you so much for getting me on the right track for this recipe. This is one of my most sought after recipes.

I followed the mix to the letter and got so close. Having a bottle of white lotus on hand I did some smell comparison and while it was 90% there, it wasn't there yet. So after some back and forth I noticed the white lotus has a biscuit'y tone to it. Going through my flavor bottles and bingo !

FA Cookie (imho) is what was missing. I added 6 drops to my 30 ml bottle (0.5% afaik) and the smell is almost spot on, if not better !
I compared with graham crust and inawera biscuit and they were not was what needed to give the smell that small lift.

I also added FA Meringue 0.5% because I always add it along with marshmallow to give it that extra sweetness on exhale.

Dropped the sweet cream with the above additions btw.

Very nice job again OP. The vanilla swirl/marshmallow/vanillin mix is such an epic base to any fruit mix. Gives it that classy lift. The cookie from FA seals the deal.

Please do try with FA Cookie and FA Meringue and let me know !

Actually 6 of cookie drops is 1%, my mistake, and probably way too much.
3 drops (0.5%) is probably better. But will have to see.

Looking forward to hearing about the updates :)
#12 by DarkJester89, Sep 2. 2016, 23:53
Biosphere, what percentages did you have your stuff at? You said you changed it to above, but I couldn't find it :/
#13 by Biosphere, Sep 3. 2016, 00:27
I added 0.5% FA Meringue for sweetness and 0.5% FA Cookies for that missing cookie/biscuit component I kept craving in the smell.
You can also try to double those to 1% each if you feel the need to.

Didn't find a need to Sweet cream after adding the Cookies and Meringue.

I'm currently experimenting with FA White Peach which has a nice zest to it but probably isn't in the original. But hey if we can make something better than the original I wouldnt mind :D

Hey Biosphere, I sent you a PM on the forum but in case it didn't get to you, I just placed an order for the cookies and cream cheese icing LA, I have Vienna cream, think that might suffice for the cookies until I can get it in? Just looking for opinion. I'm gonna try it regardless but :) thanks!
#15 by DarkJester89, Sep 3. 2016, 04:28
This juice was what got me inspired to DIY, so :) its an honor to be able to make it. thank you!
#16 by Biosphere, Sep 4. 2016, 07:39
I'm vaping on this clone that I mixed around 10 days ago with the added Cookie that was added 2 days ago..
I don't think I'll ever have to buy White Lotus anymore.
My wife tells me this smells and tastes better than the original at the moment. I did end up using FA Apricot though in that batch because I didnt have TPA Apricot around.

I'm getting TPA Apricot delivered next week. I'll make a version with FA and a version with TPA and compare.

Thanks again Granger

PSA: For any1 wanting to try Cookie, plz test it on a small batch (incase you disagree) and start with 0.25% first then up it to 0.5% which is what I ended up using. I will need to see if after a long steep more or less is needed.
#17 by DarkJester89, Sep 4. 2016, 19:14
Great :) I took Tommy Terrors advice and lowered the Apricot to 1.25, I made a 15ml batch to steep until my order gets here and i'll be adding the cookie when it arrives. Really looking forward to it.
#18 by Biosphere, Sep 4. 2016, 19:33
Definitely use less Apricot if its FA because it can overtake the mix and make it tarty. I'm not sure about TPA Apricot. I think I will stick to 3% with TPA Apricot once it arrives next week.

Hey, just got my cookie today, an odd occurrence happened. I had separately bought LA Cream Cheese icing (first time purchase) for a donut recipe.. that by itself smells spot on more than the cookie does :O haha will be attempting that as well
#20 by DarkJester89, Sep 7. 2016, 05:12
Added the cookie, shaked for about 20 mins.. and wow.. :O Biosphere, you got it!!! :D
#21 by Biosphere, Sep 7. 2016, 06:59
Nice ! I'm glad someone agrees with me on this one :D
We are getting so close and honestly I don't need it to come any closer than this. Maybe improve upon the original somehow and make the fruits more pronounced.

Shaking for 20 mins tho damn son you're a warrior :D
#22 by BoDiddley, Dec 31. 2016, 02:27
Mixed this up with the cookie and meringue and its not far off, I think the fruits maybe too strong as im getting a very slight after vape bitterness.
I think the creams need to be jiggled around also ,i may try fa vienna cream at 1% and bring the fruits down to 2.5 %
#23 by Deano, Jan 2. 2017, 21:40
Hi Granger, adapted your recipe to use 48% nic then pressed save by mistake, sorry, hope you don't mind
#24 by WhatUpOhms, Jan 14. 2017, 17:45
DarkJester89- a great substitute for nectarine is White Peach. I use white peach in my peach Yogurt recipe and sometimes I can't help but think that maybe I screwed up and put in some apricot flavour by accident.
I will be trying this recipe as soon as my Marshmallow and Vanillin show up from my supplier. 👊
#25 by Deano, Jan 15. 2017, 10:43
Hi guys, I followed Grangers recipe to the T, but dropped the nicotine to 48%(100%VG). I let it steep for 8 days and tried it yesterday and its fantastic, could not believe it!! So I took 2 tanks to the pub, 1 with the homemade in the other with original white lotus in and none of the lads could tell the difference! The Mrs reckons the homemade is better. Just wondering if the nic percentage makes a difference??
#26 by DarkJester89, Apr 8. 2018, 00:50
Steeping usually sets the difference deano, with creams and nic and etc. Time usually makes it smooth out
