Using FA vanilla custard as it's a little more prominent in the egginess than CAP and I think accent the bread pudding, curious to see if the citrus helps or hinders. FLV Custard will tone down richness while still providing creaminess in the vanilla sauce and I think the spice in catalan will accent as well.
At 4 week steep this is so addicting. Catalan really accents the cinnamon in this, but still creamy with vanilla. The FA Custard gives it an off taste, not good. I am going to mix a batch using pyure liquid stevia in place of EM to see if there is any difference, just for testing purpose.
Sweetener Optional: EM is .8%. Stevia is .25% or 1 drop per 10ml, sucralose is .5%
I removed the FA Custard as it gave it a very off taste. After testing further, I prefer the sucralose over the EM and stevia. Stevia is great with fruits, but not so good in bakeries for me. Seems more pure sugary, less muting than the EM. It's ok with the EM too, but a little more bland. IMO I think the EM mutes a lot as it's already added to so many of the flavorings.
None at all. And I usually have problems with anything with cinnamon in it. Do you normally tolerate cinnamon vapes, some people have problems with citrus or spice flavors. I have burning in my throat with citrus vapes.? Have you tried vaping just straight VG to check your vg? If that's not harsh, try straight vg with your normal nic level and rule out your nic?
Are you satisfied with this mix
I know you were changing it
I have been just putting 2 % Marshmallow FW
And it is great I may try the cat cream and Madagascar
But if you like it like this I have them all saves me experimentingals
Thanks in advance
I'm sorry. Yes, I love this now. The current recipe reflects the changes. The FA custard wasn't good in it at all, so I took it out. And I tried it with each sweetener to test. I prefer the Pyure, to me it had a more clear flavor.
On second thought, CAP V1 is more rich and eggy than FLV. Flavorah is more plain vanilla pudding. The bread pudding is already rich with egg. I would try a small batch with the same percentage, but if too much richness or egg drop it to 1%. Or make a small batch of each and see what you like best??? Especially as the bread pudding needs such a long steep anyway. Have fun!
