Richness starts to come through after 2 weeks when the vanilla in the TPA VBIC begins to shine. INW Biscuit adds a hint of body and INW Vanilla Shisha adds an authentic luxurious true vanilla hit. I know FLV's Milk & Honey is a love or loathe kinda concentrate but I find it adds depth and an almost boozy creaminess to the mix without overpowering the silkiness of the ice cream.
Hi Dwhoneil, I've not tried it as a base/stone but I don't see why it wouldn't work...FLV Milk & Honey might "muddy" fruit additions, but does play well with butterscotch/caramels (for my tastes anyway).
This is an excellent recipe! I would like to try this recipe with some Liquid Barn's Vanilla Ice Cream to see how it taste. I think I might also try some INW Yes We Cheesecake. This looks like a fun recipe to play around with. I just made my second bottle so I give this 5 stars. I don't usually mix other people's recipes more than once. Thanks for sharing it!
Haven’t tried yet just mixing it up but thank you looks like a good recipe to play around with. Might try some hazelnut in it maybe some pecan. It smells fantastic on the mixer.
Just tried this after a nice long mix, gotta say very nice even as snv. Going to give 20 day steep and come back to it if i can stay out of it. See myself using this as a base in alot of recipes down the road thank you again.
Wow just what I have been looking for I can't wait to mix this up and get back on this one I was looking for a milkshake base for a shamrock shake recipe..
