I'm anxious to try this one, since it no longer contains CAP Glazed Donut, which I hate.
#2 by VaporAlchemist, Jun 26. 2016, 13:03
Both Frosted Donut (TPA) and Glazed Donut (Cap) are very weak, and do very little in this recipe. Frosted Donut (TPA) only adds to the authenticity of the glaze. The main notes here are Sugar Cookie, Cake Batter Dip, Vanilla, and Cake (either Vanilla Cupcake or Yellow Cake).

The enhancing flavors are Caramel and Cinnamon. I'd love to get my hands on Cinnamon Ceylon, and Butterscotch Ripple to see if they can replace what I have for enhancing flavors here.

Versions 3.5 and 5.5 are the closest, they differ mainly in terms of the cake flavoring (Cake Yellow in 3.5, and Vanilla Cupcake in 5.5).

Awesome. I appreciate all the effort you put into this.
#4 by dalek67, Jul 2. 2016, 01:57
Love the 5.5. Excellent work. Thanks again.

Although Cake Batter Dip (FW) is one of my favorite flavorings. It dies out after the first week of steeping, specially when mixed with other stronger flavorings. I have a couple of new versions that I mixed with Cake Batter (Cap) instead steeping. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks so much this is a great Vape. I've knocked up 120mls. Thanks again. I'm new to mixing and loving it.
#7 by TheFlavourShop, Jul 17. 2016, 00:00
looking forward to knocking this up, thank you!
#8 by LifeIsGood, Jul 18. 2016, 16:32
how is it with cake batter (CAP) doing?
i dont like yellow cake (FW) & cake batter dip (FW) because the contain a form of sugar..
#9 by VaporAlchemist, Jul 19. 2016, 14:32
@LifeIsGood I'm steeping a new version of this recipe that does not include any FW flavors. I'll post it up once I feel confident that is improvement over the current version.
#10 by LifeIsGood, Jul 19. 2016, 22:40
im okay with (FW) butterscotch because its listed nowhere to contain any true form of sugar.
is it gonna be too dark flavour if i sub sweetener w/ brown sugar (TPA)?
#11 by VaporAlchemist, Jul 20. 2016, 01:03
Brown Sugar (TPA) has a distinctive burnt flavor, and I'd stay away from it in this recipe. Try Cotton Candy/Ethyl Maltol or Marshmallow to sweeten if you don't have Sweetner. Alternatively, give me 2 days to post up the new version.
#12 by LifeIsGood, Jul 25. 2016, 09:02
how is the progress by using CAP cake batter
#13 by amarula11, Aug 21. 2016, 17:46
FA Torrone provides honey nut type sweetness at low % so may be worth trying in the mix. Maybe .3% it is strong stuff and has a nut element too which comes out at higher %
#14 by MrBurgundy, Sep 15. 2016, 07:00
This recipe is freaking delicious. Best glazed donut recipe out there by far. Thanks so much for sharing!
#15 by kingcouchlock, Sep 16. 2016, 00:22
any update?
#16 by VaporAlchemist, Sep 19. 2016, 00:27
I'm secretly working on 'Reloaded Donut'. I'm leaving this one around because quite a lot of folks enjoy it. I'll make Reloaded Donut public once I hit gold with it.
#17 by MrBurgundy, Sep 19. 2016, 06:56
I can't fugging wait! Cheers, man!

Hello mate, great work here I really like what you do!
Only got a question, I did your v5.5 and steeped for 2 weeks since I keep tasting it, it got funky taste everytime, Im tasting it side by side with the original, but I keep gettin this weird taste, so i tried once by one found out that vanilla cupcake is horrible and ruining the recipe then comes in second place the frosted donuts, they almost look alike with that funky taste, im not sure whats wrong but I tried another version where I dont out cupcake and lowered frosted donuts a lil bit to 2% and added cap glazed donuts 2% and bunped vanilla custard to 4%, still this not good, - lil bit better but not even compared to the original, I really dont know what to do here and I so wanna clone this its my ADV and its very expensive for me, I consume atleast 20-25 ml a day, I even thought of adding 10% sucralose since the original is stacked up with it, I tried 2% for now and ill make my way up, I know lots of people dont like to add too much sweetener but hey we are trying to clone right ?

I hope you could help me in his and tell me what to add or remove

Cheers
#19 by VaporAlchemist, Oct 30. 2016, 18:48
@Som3a Please don't add 10% sucralose, lol. 2% sucralose is the highest you will ever need for most sweet recipes. There are many other ways to add sweetness like Ethyl Maltol, Marshmallow, Meringue, etc. I found that the bready danish flavoring in Cinnamon Danish Swirl (Cap) can be intrusive and give a weird off-flavor. Try Ceylon Cinnamon (FA) or Rich Cinnamon (FLV) at 0.2 - 0.4% instead of CDS (Cap), otherwise stay tuned for my Reloaded Donut recipe. I'm fine tuning it, and working on a youtube video for it. It should be up this coming week.
#20 by Som3a, Oct 30. 2016, 18:53
Lol I wont then, other sweeteners tends to mute flavour but yea I will wait for your reloaded version please provide us link here :) thanks alot for all your support
#21 by Billywilly, Nov 17. 2016, 22:38
Anyone try this with fw butterscotch ripple? I've got fw butterscotch, butterscotch natural and butterscotch ripple
#22 by Som3a, Nov 23. 2016, 10:57
Hey mate where is the reloaded version ? Ive been waiting >< , I just bought a new 120 ml of the original today, I had many tries of cloning it using Funnel cake, Glazed Donuts, Frosted Donuts, Vanilla cupcake and much more (you can check my stach) yet none of 'em seem to get near the real flavour, I am thinking the original got nothing to do with donuts maybe ? aside of being stacked with sucralose that I only taste after a while, it might be missing the real donuts taste as I am sure not TFA and Cap are missing the donuts taste ? actually the ones we use are more realistic donuts taste but the original Loaded got nothing to do with it, its some bakery juice but not donuts, or did you nail it 1:1 on the reloaded ?

I really wish I could clone it and the other Smores by Loaded too
#23 by Billywilly, Nov 27. 2016, 14:32
Any update on the reloaded you were working on?
#24 by VaporAlchemist, Nov 27. 2016, 18:53
Reloaded donut is up. It is closer to the Ruthless e-liquid, but a clone was never my goal. I just wanted to get a fresh krispy kreme galzed donut. I'm sure many will enjoy Reloaded, and many more might even improve on it. After 8 months, and 33 versions, I'll be taking a break from working on a donut profile. Enjoy Reloaded Donuts here tjek.nu/r/8caz

Has anyone else got a "perfume" taste from the tpa/tfa frosted donut? I've only tried it buy itself so far but 😲 its like eating perfume! Or did I get a bad batch...it'd perhaps it's not the dx version? It didn't say if it was when I ordered it & just recently found out they have the 2 versions of it. The dx version meaning its DAP free & whatnot.
#26 by Brandy, Feb 3. 2017, 06:13
Also, in everyones opinion... Which of these versions is closest to the ruthless loaded glazed donut? ☺ my favvvvv vape is putting me in the poor house & try as I might, I cant 1:1 it...not even a little.
#27 by MrBurgundy, Feb 3. 2017, 07:01
What percentage did you mix it at by itself? I don't get perfume. I get powdered sugar and the faintest hint of a cake-ish dough. I call it donut essence. Haha.
I'm not sure which version is most like LGD. To be honest, I think these all have much more complexity to them. LGD, to me, tastes like 1% CAP Glazed Doughnut, assloads of sucralose, a touch of vanilla, and maybe a minuscule drop of CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl. I find VA's versions much more satisfying. I think his "Reloaded Donuts" is the best, and, due to him using CAP Glazed Doughnut in that one, it's also the closest to the real deal. It's a great vape!!
#28 by Brandy, Feb 6. 2017, 06:16
Thanks for the reply, I will certainly give the reloaded a try. Also, I put it in at 7.5% by itself but tried it within a few hours of mixing & then again a day later when I had posted this. Its now been about a week & its not perfumey but still very dull on is own...but I can see now how it'd play a nice role (at low %s) in a good donut recipe. In your opinion, as a glaze, which is better, TPA or CAP?
#29 by Brandy, Feb 6. 2017, 07:51
Also, in my experience, vaping with sucralose gunks my wicks pretty bad... Is there any other sweeteners you know of besides that (not including e.m. or marshmallow?
#30 by MrBurgundy, Feb 6. 2017, 08:33
Erythritol is another sweetener that doesn't gunk up coils, but it isn't nearly as effective as sucralose. Sucralose is kind of necessary here. The glaze on a donut is sugar and water. Sucralose replicates that really well. Add in the stickiness from FA Honey and that's a bomb glaze right there. CAP Glazed Doughnut is definitely a better glaze. TPA Frosted Donut doesn't have any glaze to it at all.
#31 by Brandy, Feb 6. 2017, 20:56
Ty for ur feedback..the problem I'm having is that in my experience, sucralose is a wick destroyer.. Yet (my favorite vape) LGD by ruthless does not at all gunk up anything... So I'm torn bcuz obviously LGD uses a strong sweetener but I really don't think it's surcalose cuz of my perfect wicks after use... So idk wut to do
#32 by Brandy, Feb 6. 2017, 21:11
I'm going to attempt a DAP Free version of this...substituting hazard flavors for similar DAP free ones... Ordering concentrates now, will let u guys know how it turns out (and which flavors were substituted & for what)
#33 by Brandy, Feb 7. 2017, 05:15
Ty will keep u posted
#34 by simon, Feb 7. 2017, 12:27
How close is this to Loaded Glazed Donuts?
#35 by VaporAlchemist, Feb 7. 2017, 21:09
This is is only inspired by loaded glazed donut, not a clone. The Reloaded version is definitely closer. Look for Reloaded Donuts under my recipes.
#36 by simon, Feb 7. 2017, 23:04
Thank you
#37 by Billywilly, Feb 8. 2017, 00:08
@vaporalchemist have you worked with fa zeppola yet? I'm sure this has been asked but I would like to hear your thoughts if you have any. I've got the flavor.. it seems good, but rather weak for a fa flavor.
#38 by VaporAlchemist, Feb 8. 2017, 02:35
I haven't tried it. I'm waiting for feedback from others. Perhaps someone can try replacing G Donut (Cap) in the Reloaded version with Zeppola (FA) and let me know how it goes.
#39 by Brandy, Feb 8. 2017, 04:49
I am going to be using zeppola (fa) in my dap free version of your reloaded donuts. Haven't got flavor in yet but it's been shipped.will keep u all posted
#40 by vaping_lou, Mar 11. 2017, 06:19
Wow oh wow! This recipe is amazing. I put it in the crock pot for 2 hours and tried it. My favorite vape of 2016 was Glazed Donuts by Loaded. And this juice imo has everything in needed. A touch more of cinnamon and the donut flavor your recipe has over loaded's juice. Time two throw it in the cabinet and come back to it in a couple weeks. Great job. I going to make a 120ml batch of it and try your reloaded version too. Thanks for sharing this great recipe
#41 by Nastyfrank, Mar 29. 2017, 18:19
Loaded glazed donuts is my ADV. i set out to clone it, i made your version alchemist. And its pretty good. But it just wasnt doing it for me. Anyways, taste is subjective but i believe i have hit it 1:1 or close to the money. Check my post.
#42 by nOizE16, Jul 19. 2017, 22:29
It looks really good, but I think it needed zeppola in addition to the frosted donut, to really get that strong donut flavor. I added %2, but I don't recommend using over %3, cus anything stronger will give you a nasty throat hit. I also added %1 of Joy, as it tends to work well with donut recipes. It still has to steep, so in 10 days i'll report back and let you guys know how it turned out.
Thanks for the awesome recipe.
#43 by simon, Jul 19. 2017, 22:35
Awesome. Look forward to it.
#44 by Stavanger Ghost, Aug 10. 2017, 10:21
And how was it With the zeppola ? And With the JOY ?

Considering making it... but after Reading Your questions, i am curious if it is possible to improve it maybe ?
#45 by Fuat Abi, Dec 7. 2017, 23:30
Amazing after 6 days! Really enjoying it.
#46 by OddModicum, Jun 16. 2019, 21:40
Ok, so I'm going to try this orig version, since I'm missing way too many flavors to really experience what you intended for the Reloaded.... But I've got em on my shopping list. ;) I'm really excited. Been on the hunt for a good 'Krispy Kreme' glazed donut for a while now. The only thing I don't have for this one is the Frosted Donut TPA... however I've got the Glazed Donut OOO (brand new to me, never played with it yet). Any idea how that will play as a sub here? I've also got Zeppola, if that helps at all. ty ty
#47 by VaporAlchemist, Jun 18. 2019, 00:01
You could try Zeppola at 3% or 3.5% I don't know anything about Glazed Donut OOO.
#48 by OddModicum, Jun 18. 2019, 05:08
K, I'll do a small tester with the Glazed Donut OOO and one with the Zeppola. ty ty!
