This is an almost PERFECT clone of Drip "The Hype" they use Flavorah cinnamon crunch as a base for sure. It is pretty spot on, like it has the same color and everything when side by side with the real deal. let me know how you like it!
I made this with all the flavors except Cin Danish swirl i didnt have. This recipe is legit, im telling you, its pretty frickin close to the drips the hype if not perfect! I am pleasantly surprised. Props kid for a great recipe.
Can't tell secrets, but it looks like it would be delicious ! I'm the maker of drip the hype so hopefully you understand why I cant tell you that lol... Its pretty awesome seeing people enjoying my liquids though !
damnnnn i just saw all this!! crazy??? i feel like i am missing the maple syrup when i made this clone. getting kudos from the dude who made the real deal is amazing. i wish i knew it was really you....
like i still buy your juice to this day, it's frustrating knowing your close but the real deal is just that little bit better. your juice is sweeter then mine is and also i cant figure out what that missing flavor profile is other than maple.
Nice clone, I love FTC..Sadly the last 120ML I ordered from that wasn't as good for some reason... Maybe I out vaped it? .. One thing I did was sub malted milk for TPA dairy / Milk... Gives it a smoother exhale of fresh milk, I was gonna try to add a bit of maple to this but not sure how well it will go over.
never had the original. made this last night and definitely has the cereal type feel. Not as sweet as i'd like but still very good. any suggestions to get it a little sweeter besides dumping more sucralose?
So glad i mixed this! That is a real cool trick using hazelnut to create the french toast note. I subed same % (FW) Marshmallow and Sweet Cream for (CAP) guessing its close enough. Not exactly a shake and vape but interesting how the mix develops in its first 36 hours going from synthetic to more organic in overall flavor. Will look for authentic to compare next lounge visit but this tastes great and plenty sweet although the maple syrup thing is tempting. Awesome work NickBusc!
Thanks everyone for all the praise. I switched percentages up a little this is the final recipe. Cool to get some props for a mix on here. I have more just ha ent posted em yet
I've never tried the original juice, but there are a couple of comments about this mix missing maple. Could one possibly sub FA maple syrup at .2-.3% for the sucralose?
1 drop/10ml saline solution works well in this!! I found it rounded out the hard edges between layers and prolongs the little sparkle of brown sugar on the tongue just like the real CTC cereal's initial flavor. Oh yeah and substituting Brown sugar for sucralose works very well for me too. It SUX people are posting this exact recipe as their own without giving credit to NickBusc!
how can i bring out the milk flavor a little more? to me it tastes a little dry (like comparing a dry wine to a sweet wine is the best way i can describe it) i would prefer to have it sweeter and a little more milk, i see more meringue to make it seem sugar coated now just more milky flavor any suggestions?
i actually posted what I think to be a much better version of this. its called "another cinnamon toast crunch" or something like that. it focuses on TFA cinnamon Danish swirl for the cinnamon bakery flavor, also has more sweet cream and no malted milk, I also added cheesecake graham crust and HOLY SHIT that was the ingredient that really pulls the whole mix together oh my god is it good. ive come a long way mixing wise since this has been posted lol
Steeping time? Ive steeped it for a week now and dont feel like all the flavours are coming together yet. Do i have to steep more , or did I mess something up while mixing?
No one could guess if you messed something up, the only way to find out is to mix it again and don't sub any flavors. Subbing a flavor can make a huge difference in a mix.
Great mix Nick just found this while searching for cinnamon toast recipes. Never had the OG but this is really good. I noticed alot of reviewers wanted to add maple. That sounded good so I changed FW Sweet Cream to FW Vanilla butternut which is similar to FW Sweet Cream but has slight maple and some nutty side notes. I also dropped the rich cinnamon as it was too much for my tastes. It turned out really good.
