Supposedly a near identical (albeit less sweet) version of Polar Bear - Take out the menthol, and you have Nanner Bear. Note that he used heat and a magnetic stirrer to cure it. Without that you need to let it steep a long time. I'd say at least two weeks. Hmmmm. I just got a bum batch of Polar, and I swear there is some absinthe or anise in there.

Interesting - Not much of a menthol fan myself, but I'll have to try the original Nanner soon! :D

Your banana foster is labeled as MBV, but it's supposed to be TPA.
This recipe is definitely not 'spot on' but it's pretty good. I think I agree with SamEff's comment regarding the anise note.

Instead of Anise you should try FA liquorice
