I have been on the hunt for a really good baked flavor for over a month...this is by far the best I have had yet, Thank you so much for sharing this recipe...you rock.
You could probably just exclude the golden butter. I don't think upping the butter cream would make up the difference. It will be different, but still pretty good.
Ok ! Cool thanks ! And thanks for sharing this recipe !! I love butter cookies , and also are they suspose to the like the Danish butter cookies in the blue can that come out around Christmas time !?
HocusKrokus, I just finished my original bottle of this juice today and will be making another larger batch. Thank you again for this recipe! Oh and I wanted you to know that I also mixed some with shisha strawberry and it made an extremely flavorful vape.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the kind words. You can really add almost anything, using this cookie as a base since it's pretty neutral. I like to add FW Hazelnut and FA Almond when I make this sometimes :)
I tend to be a flavor junkie and can't believe I smoked the same brand cigs for years! I have mods and tanks all over my house where there used to be ashtrays. I have to have several flavors daily and this one is so versatile.
I'm planning on mixing a few of your recipes, this one in particular. I normally mix around 17-24%. I've always preferred in your face flavor. What do you think the result would be, if I doubled your recipe here? Do you think anything would be too high, percent wise, as to mute parts of the recipe? Just wondering.... This does look nicely balanced, even before mixing. I can usually tell... Thanks!
I think that doubling it would have an end result of simply being overflavored, and likely cause some muting or some balance issues as the butter and butter cream would likely take over. If you're open to it, why not try it the way I've written it, then if you feel it's a bit low for you, increase the sugar cookie 1-2% and the rest by only a small amount. Though I think you'll find the original is plenty flavorful.
Just got around to trying the batch I made a couple weeks ago. Man this is so awesome. Dead on the butter cookies my grandma used to get when I was a kid.
I tried variations with both, and they just didn't fit here. Joy starts pushing it into cakey territory, and biscuit was too much added butteryness. I mix it fairly often for myself without sucralose. It won't be the same, but it will still be pretty good.
Looks good. Some say that Ethyl Malthol /sucralose (same thing?) tend to mute flavors over time. If so, would it be an idea to blend those in after stepping and add it just to the bottle you are about to use? That is a general question for all recipes who have EM in it.
EM and sucralose are not at all the same. EM does mute recipes over time, but I don't find the same to be true of sucralose. Generally, it's fine to add your EM around 12-24 hours prior to using a juice to get a decent effect. But they are definitely not the same. Sucralose should steep with your flavors, so it's better to add it right away.
I did 30ml and finished it before steeping a full week. Did that twice. So I made 60ml, waited a week before I started into it. That lasted about 2 weeks (3 weeks total steep), and the taste was the best yet! Time for a 120ml batch! Thanks Mr. K!
I did this recipe on 16 March with a little bit of inawera's biscuit as I think it would be suitable and indeed it is awesome! Thank you Kopel for sharing!
No, it's just a component of Super Sweet. You can use it in most places that you would use sweetener if that's what you like. It can help some flavors stand out better, and it's a pretty low amount so it shouldn't negatively affect other types of flavors.
I made this recipe and i left it to steep for one month and it is delicious.I want your opinion on whether i should put cinamon danish swirl at 0.5% or not.
@Damian sorry for the late reply, but yes you could add .5% CAP CDS if you're into cinnamon cookies. @Laura, thanks again! So glad you and yours liked it!
Great recipe, Kopel! I mixed up my 2nd batch last night, and gonna do a 3rd now, with the changes you suggested to Briz1973, way back near the top of the comments -- I'd like a stronger Cookie taste...
Thanks for that nice Recipe Kopel. When u want make a Hazelnut-Cookie, how much FW Hazelnut u Use? And you make it directly to the mix, or first after some time steeping?
@Kopel... thanks for this recipe, it looks great...going to mix this up within next month and come back to rate.
And lol at ur comment about your mom using the blue cookie tin for sewing stuff, my mom did they same thing lol... I would open the butter cookie blue tin, looking forward to a cookie but I got needles instead, lmao
@everyone, just a suggestion to always read the notes and always read all the comments, because I see the same questions asked over and over and if you just read the comments ur questions would be answered..lol.... not just that but you can learn alot too ;)
I'm so interested in trying your recipe, but i don't have ( Butter Cream (CAP), Golden Butter (CAP) or Sweet Cream (CAP) ).
But I have ( Butter (TPA), Bavarian Cream (TPA), Sweet Cream (TPA), Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA), Vanilla Custard (TPA) and Vanilla Swirl (TPA))
Can you guide me how to reach the same taste with what I have?
and how to make it sweet like commercial ejuice with Sweetener (Sucralose/Maltol) (TPA) ?
Just made another litre of this, over 2 years on from the posting date and still my all time favourite all day vape eliquid, through countless atomizers and tanks it delivers each time every time, you should be proud Chris, I know I would be!
I get a nice fluffy buttery kind of cookie taste, cookie is not too strong. Tastes a lot like the old fashioned cookies it's supposed to emulate. Couldn't resist the urge and added blueberry, it's lovely! Thank you for sharing Kopel.
It's very good after 1-2 weeks steeping. Make small amount! I made 300ml and the taste change after long steep. Now I'm trying to fix it with no luck :(
How can I tell when it is too much? What happens when you put too much flavorings inside, does that supress the flavour? Im not that experienced. Tested it today and the taste isnt that full and strong. It has steeped for 4 days now.
Overflavoring can DEFINITELY lead to muting especially in the case of really heavy creams and dessert type flavors. Best practice is to start low and work your way up. The original versions of this recipe started at around 5-6% total and worked their way up.
It also depends on what kind of hardware you're using to vape your testers in! Lots of variables. It will take time to learn the best ways to hit your personal thresholds for an optimal vape.
