this is my only shared recipee of 80, it is in my top adv i have made a bunch of versions and variations, you can add 2% gram cracker it will tone down the pie crust i like the pie crust flavor myself , If you seek more apple flavor reduce apple pie to 7% and add 2% apple flavor of your choice red, green, double, fuji ,ect..... i have even read were pear or juciy peach works ( 2-3 week steep time) .....comments welcome and enjoy
i just made a batch and after a crock pot bath ....smells awsome!!!! has all day vape smell, gonna let steep ....ps i vaped a few drops and its good now gonna get better
Made several batches with varied fruit flavours, all steeping. Have you tried this with Apple candy flavour? Tastes good straight after mixing... Thanks for recipe
Will do, great recipe any idea on a good steep time...?
FYI
Pear
Ripe banana
Apple candy
ADV_gambit V2
All FA flavours, 40pg 60vg 6mg nic. Banana is 50/50 and really aggressive destroyed syringe within seconds not sure this one is gonna work but the rest smell great. Apple candy seams to be a bit sweeter and as the name suggests much more candy like.
Edit: all flavours are TFA.....
10 days into steep and starting to come good on the ADV Apple gambit however the Pear and the Apple candy flavours are streaks ahead and taste simply awesome both have a good hit pear for me is the winner so far really punchy.
1st batch fully steeped and flavour awesome, tried some samples with 1% added Pear and then Candy Apple and working a treat. Do you use any additives? Used some Vape wizard at 1% and lost a whole heap of flavour
i have updated the missing link Acetyl Pryazine tpa so if your batch did not have it in put it in NOW. roughly 6 drops per 30 mil it takes a few days to level out if your addding it after you steeped it. this is a friggin amazing recipe i have been vaping it for a week
Initial mix with battery powered milk frother then bottle, next day vigorous shake then remove cap wait for bubbles to clear & replace give another shake with cap on and place in drawer for next day... Repeat and sample daily until it's smoooooooth IMO
I halfed the the pie crust and added a just few drops of double apple and cinnamon roll.
4 weeks steep and I'm vaping it next to the real thing. Now, I might just have a gotten a dodgy batch from 5P but the real deal is FKN bitter..sux...I'll take this clone anyday:) Kudos dude you killed it on this one!!!!
Ladies and Gents, if you like Gambit you gotta risk some of your stash on this, you wont be dissapointed.
I can't wait to try this. Thanks for the recipe. The only ingredient I don't have is the carmamel candy. Is there anything I should up the percentage on?
This is a superb recipe. I've never tried the official Gambit, but this is great, trying to let it steep, but I can't put it down. Absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing.
I loved the recipe, but now im little paranoid to create another batch since 5 pawn has high Acetyl Propionyl,

I just made this recipe using all DX and V2 concentrates where I could. On a last second whim. I took this one day old juice to a friends house for the 4th along with a bunch of others. A lot of us vape. An I wanted an objective opinion on my juices. This is NOT a politically correct crowd. LOL! While all were well received. This was by far the most commented on. Very tasty and very complex. I've never actually tried Gambit. But folks who had said they actually liked this version better and this was steeped for only one night with the lid off and shaken a couple of times. Put it this way. People were in all seriousness trying to convince me to open a vape shop. Including my wife of all people. But I'm just using recipes found on this site with very minor changes for my own personal use. For now, I guess. She won't let it go. I highly recommend this recipe!
lol adv_search is over THIS IS AWSOME!!!! thanks for posting this recipe . if your new to mixing or just searching for a great flavor just mix this one you wont regret it.
many thanks to ADV, created this recipe and enjoyed it very much, slightly too pie-crusty for my taste but nonetheless would willingly pay good money for it, just created another batch but decided to lower the pie crust to 1% and switched the apple for Pear and tbh it smells absolutely stunning , put it away for a steep and looking forward to a future date with a hopefully Peary wonderfull concoction !
once again, big thanks to adv-search, appreciate your time and efforts in creating for all our benefits !
ADV, when you sub for apple pie with pear, do you keep the same %? I was thinking of possibly doing a peach version as I have everything other than apple pie.
i have never mixed a peach version there was a guy gazz46 tried it never responded about peach only pear give it a try , let me know how it works i would try with the same %'s maybe up pie crust half percent.
I'm still here ADV and still loving ur recipe, haven't got round to peach yet but all the others I made have been a huge success. Currently have 11 variations on ur original. Different fruits, more candy flavours less apple pie more Apple😎 hard to keep track sometimes lol. Currently rocking a 50/50 mix of Apple candy and pear candy without pie crust AP made a significant difference. Banana worked really well but needed to steep for months.
That does not sound normal , did you mix with cold vg? try putting the glass jar in the microwave for like 10 seconds and shake it up. if it goes back to layers i would not use it.
@ADV_search If you have a moment Id love to know answer to following. I have all correct ingredeints but have CAP Apple Pie instead of TFA. How should I adjust the % please?
I initially tried this recipe with Cap Apple Pie @9% as it's all i had. Cap apple pie (to me) has a very cardboard/wet sock smell /taste when first mixed. Similar to Berry Crunch (TPA). However after a super long steep, I'm talking like +5weeks. That taste is all gone and you do in fact get a nice rich apple pie flavor. I won BS, I do prefer TPA apple pie, however if all you have is CAP, bang in 8% but prepare to wait it out. Unfortunately I never do speed steeps so i cant give you any more advice on how to speed it up.
Has anyone compared this ejuice on tank vs drip atty? I can't seem to taste the apple on a tank (It's more of a vanilla with rich pie crust flavor), but on drip its has a very strong apple. Care to comment on those who tried on both tank and atty.
I used identical ingredients and %s to above but I used Apple Pie by CAP instead of TFA at 9% and the AP flavor is too strong and outweighs the other flavours. I will be trying again with 6-8% and report back. Still even at 9% it is very enjoyable.
It's a good mix but I'm not going to remake it because I have other apple recipes that I like better. It's just not a strong enough apple flavor for me.
Just made a 30ml batch with CAP vanilla custard V1 and I must admit, it smells and taste AMAZING. Can't wait to try it out after a week or two of steeping.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I take my hat off for you ;-)
Amazing !
Close enough to the real thing to me.
Used vanilla bourbon butterscotch and caramel from FA because I don't have the caramels one neither the vanilla ice cream thing.
I added 1% Fuji Apple without reducing anything else, and the apple really pops in it now. Delicious recipe. For those mixing DX and V2 flavors with flavors that contain D, A and AP.... be weary, BA keeps D in an active state for a longer time. This has been researched and is documented on the web and in the ELR forum. I am sure that the primary replacement for A and AP in most flavors is BA. I'll use one or the other, but not both. Heck, I have Butter and Condensed Milk flavors in my stash that are chock full of our nemesis D. Of course they are rarely used, and in very conservative amounts. But Dayam! BUTTER!
very nice recipe ! thanks for sharing, I didn't have the apple pie but split it between apple fuji and green apple TFA. also I had to use FA caramel in place of the original caramel. It is delicious muah !
This is very, very good right out of the mixing gate. The pie crust is dominant with a hint of caramel and apple. I am thinking of adding the fugi apple to it to make the apples pop a bit more and maybe some type of cinnamon roll/danish to it, but will know more what to do with it once I let her age a bit, if I can keep out of the bottle. This is by far one of the best recipes I have ever tasted. Thank you so much for sharing.
I made a 120ml batch of this, I only had 9ml Apple Pie - TFA where it called for 12ml, so I added 3ml of Apple - TFA in its place. This came out VERY GOOD. After 7-10 days steep this is getting some serious use.
Pretty bad at first but I made this on a whim and am very glad I did, because nothing else I was making came out worth a damn. I almost headed up to the vape shop to get some retail juice. People, if your juice is sucking, try making this!
@ADV_search, Made this recipe exactly to your specs, awesome, just awesome. Thank you very much for sharing, my wife and I are loving it, both of us are off the analogs for a little over two months now and juice like this just makes it easy to reaffirm to ourselves that vaping is so much better/healthier/safer. We were having doubts for awhile, there are tons of juices out there, many of which are pretty dreadful, so DIY seemed like a better route. Premium juice now for a reasonable price, so many thanks to yourself and others like you who are taking the time to craft these recipes and share with the world.
@ADV_search I haven't left a review on here before, but this is incredible. My favourite recipe, and my favourite juice I've ever tried. Good job mate!
I'm going to try this by itself and on the side I will add 1 or 2 percent of two other Apples in this to get a bigger apple kick whoo hoo excited for this one. Thanks for posting!
Steep time is a must for this. I find the steep process goes a bit faster if Vanilla Custard V1 is used instead of V2. I suspect the Butyric Acid in the V2 takes a long time to steep.
Made a 60ml batch and find out later that I used Caramel(not original) TFA instead. Did not liked it right away. Will try it after steeping a while. Or did I killed it with the wrong Caramel?
I just started making my own e-liquid and I must say......"DAMN!!! This is on point!!!!". I going to make a 120ml bottle tomorrow night! So darn tasty. Now, I have to steep it. :-(
I personally don't like the way cinnamon affects this recipe. I would start low 0.5%. also you could try cinnamon Ceylon from FA at 0.5% as well. let me know what you do and your findings .
@ADV_search Thanks, your help is greatly appreciated. I will not even attempt adding cinnamon then. It is great as it is but I am going to run 2 experiments with reducing Apple Pie and adding TFA Apple and TFA Granny Smith Apple. 3rd experiment will be reducing Pie Crust and adding Graham Cracker Clear TFA.
1) If I wanted to run 4th experiment of reducing Pie Crust and upping the Apple what %s would you recommend changing?
2) When you say adding Juicy peach works as well? Does that mean reducing the Apple Pie % and adding the Juicy Peach as you would do when adding extra Apple?
vape4me answer 1) reduce apple pie and pie crust by1% each add 2% of apple flavor of choice. 2) I never added peach some other poster did instead of adding apple flavor he tried peach or pear. fauziherman ethyl molto = cotton candy and do not skip acetyl pyrazine its a must
Tq bro actually I managed to find all the flavour including acetyl pyrazine n cotton candy.tq bro.Btw what about nicotine??no need to add to maintain the flavour or how??
I made my first batch, exact specs exact quantity, tried instantly after some rough rough shake, smell good beautiful yellow colour,it taste crusty, dominant vanilla hint in it,no apple I think, and it was not sweet(tasteless),is it normal??will it become better after 1 week of steeping???will all the flavours reveal themselves later??they said the juice was complex, just after mixing I think it was not to complex, how much the colour will change,I asked my friend and he said it was good,he loved it,I can't wait if it will be better??
Just made up a 30ml batch of this. Smells great. After a bath and a jigsaw shake I vaped a bit in my Smok v4 and was a bitter nutty mess. Throwing it in the closet, will try it at Christmas.
@ADV_search I have tried making this with TFA apple and TFA Granny smith apple. regular apple seems too much like a sour candy apple to me but granny smith apple def seems suitable. you had any success with finding the best apple from TFA or FA to blend into this mix? Fuji apple seems popular but i never tried it. am i gonna be good with GS apple or should i look further? GS apple seems very strong @2% so made another sample with only 1% and see how that works out.
Didn't have all the ingredients so I mixed it this way and it was still delicious! Apple Pie (TPA) 8% Caramel Candy (TPA) 3% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 5% Vanilla Custard 1% Ethyl Maltol 4%
I made 30ml of this last night and let it sit in a hit water bath with a coffee mug warmer for a few hours and then let it cool overnight. It's pretty good today but the Caramel flavor seems a bit too strong for my liking. Should I let it steep longer or try making it again but reduce the Caramel original to 1% or even 0.5%?
Ok, I let it sit in a hot water bath for another hour and then let it cool overnight and the caramel definitely toned down. This is a very good recipe!
Hello Guys, after so many great feedback from you Im about to order the materials for this recipe. can u please tell me if this is what i need to make a Gambit V2?
Here is a link with my shopping card
http://prntscr.com/9e2kpq
P.S 1) nicotine still not in my shopping card
P.S 2) I have so many of the same items cuz im about to make 1L of this recipe
Hey, So I'm brand new here, I literally received my first kit of 32 flavors today. I recently picked from the 5 recipes from this site to try on my first 5 10 ml samples. Anyway I made 4 of the 5 cut wood unicorn milk, Strawberry shortcake bar, Blind pigs Capone, Also this one, anyways I made them shook them and tasted each one. And I'm gonna be onist totally chemically and taste was awful some even tasted like sick. so I was very disheartened. hey, so I had a few things to do so I left them with the lids off in the dark. I'm home sat down again so I thought id have a vape on this one, wow now I get it, I can really taste the flavour starting to shine through. its really nice, like all day vape nice, so I've made 30ml up and I'm letting it steep. the start of the day was like really disappointed but now I'm chuffed to bits. hellooooo DIY e juice.
thank you for you recipe.
Jamming4life. Don't get discouraged because it takes a little bit of time and practice to make it the way that you like it and most recipes require a steep time.
this mix is very good but 3 weeks steeping is a must. The difference between the aroma of flavors between day one and after 20 days of steeping is HUGE!
Truly fantastic, mixed a 30ml bottle. Vaped it off rip in 3 days. Just mixed a 60ml bottle. Gonna let it steep this time for a week, just to see how great it gets.
Also didn't have just carmel only Carmel candy. Replaced the difference with all carmel candy. Super fantastic.
guys I need help, accidentally I put double the amount of Pie Crust (TPA) and I don't wanna throw away the juice. What's the best way to tone it down because right now, it overpowered everything after 4 days?
This is honestly one of the best recipes I've ever had, not only mixing myself, but also from purchasing from a vendor. I mixed 10ml to test and within one day it was a great ADV. Just mixed up 60ml, gave it a heat bath and waited one day, just to hold me over. I'm also steeping 120ml proper. Can't wait to try it after 7-10.
Currently dripping on my velocity RDA on top of the reuleaux RX200, with a glass of special reserve Jameson.
This is such a delicious recipe, I've mixed up a few different flavour batches, can't wait til they've steeped a bit. Thanks for the share :)
I do have a problem with the strength of the flavor though, its mixed @ 25% yet the taste is so weak compared to off the shelf juices - how can I make it stronger? I've mixed up the above and left it to steep for 11days, but it's just not strong enough... What are my options?
Hey guys.. does any one of you know what should I substitue the Whipped Cream (TPA) for? I have plenty of creamy Capella flavours, so Sweet Cream perhaps?
Zomg. I've bought all the ingredients for this and then I realised its not got any nicotine in it and I want the nicotine a 6mg. Does anyone think that might have an adverse effect on its taste?
I don't have TFA Caramel, so I subbed it for 0.5% FA Caramel. This is seriously one of the best, if not the best juice I've made.
@Pleasurecloud: I wouldn't worry about 6mg nic having any negative effect on flavor. If you go 15mg or higher i guess it might, but even then I wouldn't worry too much. From what I've read, nic can actually help bring the flavors together better than no nic at all...but that could be bs.. idk.
I've made several 100 ml of this delicious recipe. The last batch, I swapped apple pie from TFA to CAP and think it's way better. You should try it out :-)
