The apple sits quiet nicely as the primary flavor at 1.5%, and the tobacco taste is quite subtle but there. This turned out way better than I thought it would. Great job on the recipe!
One of the best and underrated recipes on ELR! Very nice balance of flavors! Goes into my ADV category! If you like RY4 recipes you're sure to love this one!
My brother loves ry4. It is the first ry4 based recipe I have made him that has stopped him buying an overpriced "premium" juice. I am quite fond of it myself, great recipe.
Most RY4 recipes take a bit for the tobacco notes to mature. Though I am not the author of this recipe I would say a week minimum before you sample vape it... but you'll see, as the days and weeks go by it will develop into a nice well rounded e liquid.
As a newer mixer, this has been one of the most impressive and delicious recipes I've mixed up so far. I was very skeptical at first, as even 1.5% of the Fuji Apple was overpowering when it's first mixed up. But after about 10 days, it had transformed into this magical, delicious liquid, and now I need to make a much larger batch!
This a really smooth vape. I am very happy with the way it came out. No floral taste a a superb clean apple and tobacco taste. So good. It may become an ADV for me. Just satisfying on every pull. Good recipe, do not change it.
Looking for a good Ry4 to make and this sounds awesome. I don't have butterscotch ripple though. I'm definitely gonna have to try this when I get some.
Made this up. Vaping it now after a 9 day steep. BRAVO! This is very very good. I'm putting this up next to pistachio ry4 as one of the best Ry4 recipes I've ever vaped
@KGuardian - thanks. As it turns out I had an order in at Gremlin and I added the butterscotch ripple to it. When I looked the flavors up they really did seem like two different things although both butterscotch. I figured at least on my fix mix I'd make it as described. The ripple flavor has an ice cream component so I may like it in other mixes.
made this up about 3 weeks ago and just ran across it in my box o juices . Very nicely done, gonna have to make up a big A bottle, only made a 20 ml bottle and i know its not gonna last long at all, Thank you
Went straight in for 100ml as I wanted to leave it as long as possible. Mixed on 3/2/17 so it's now at the 6-7 week stage. Lovely nice soft slightly tart apple with a light creamy caramel, almost slightly toffee apple profile. I thought the 6% Flavor West - Butterscotch Ripple may have been a bit high at first glance and bring a little too much sweetness but it seems to fit quite well.
I'll be remixing it for my personal taste and trying to add in a slightly harder toffee side to it, more towards a toffee apple profile.
No joke, this recipe is hands down one of the best I've tried from here yet. The apple is absolutely perfect, balanced nicely above that RY4 and the butterscotch adds the perfect amount of lift to the caramel notes. Topped off with a nice smooth touch of vanilla custard. Damn good job. Need to make 250mls asap!
I gotta say that this recipe made me like ry4 vapes and my goto recipe when needing a little tobaccoish vape.. the fuji blends in really well but the butterscotch needs at least that week of steeping in order for it to develop.. great recipe, nice work!
A very satisfying vape after a week steep. Pleasantly surprised as is my 1st mix using any tobacco type flavours. exceeded my expectations.
Thanks for the recipe :)
Almost 4 weeks of patience to try this fantastic juice. Excellent tobacco ej with apple tones and not too sweet.. Highly recommend for the vapers trying to find an ADV with apple hints! Thanks for sharing!
I did a remix With this recipe as the base. Just wanted you to know i will be posting it around. I will give you credit for the original recipe. But the New recipe, With 5 New and diffrent ingredients, will be inmy name, With crediting you ofc :) Just wanted to let you know, so that you can see Development of yourr own recipe ;) Anyways, i hope this is fine With you ?
Over the last 6 months I have used all my RY4 Double making repeat batches of this. All the descriptions above are spot on, this is so balanced and an easy AMV (All MONTH Vape) Thanks for the share!
@SADPANDAVAPE i dont like apple mate. What do you think if i sub it with cap sugar cookies or inawera biscuits or fa cookies or maybe tpa pistachio_?. Any of these subs go well with fw butterscoth ripple_?
Just made a couple of 30 mls of this. Since I was out of juice, I went ahead and threw them in warm water bath in an ultrasonic cleaner. Tried some and it's bangin already with apple at the forefront. I'll stash away one of the bottles as I'm sure it's going to be amazing with some steeping as the other notes develop and come forward but even as a shake and vape, this is already quite delicious. Thanks for the recipe!
Very nice recipe. I mixed this about two weeks or so ago and it developed into something quite nice. It was mostly apple shortly after putting it together, but the RY4 came through after a week, but not exactly enough for my taste. I'll wait for another week and if nothing changes, I'll tweak the percentages to hopefully get something closer to what I want. But still, awesome stuff man. Thank you very much for your work on this one and for sharing it as well.
Really great mix. I prefer more apple in mine and upped the Fuji to 3%, but found that even with that, the apple was still weak. I made another batch to the original spec' and found that the apple, even thought at 1.5% was stronger. Not sure how that happened but it did. I'll keep the original recipe on hand.
This vaguely reminds me of a flavor called Shellback by Ropecut (based out of Canada). That was my first tobacco vape and it was so darn good, but didn't want to pay the expensive price for another 30ml. Found this and it's pretty darn close, although Shellback had some graham cracker crust in the undertones and was a little more of a dry flavor.
Might alter this to see if I can get that exact flavor next time.
All-in-all, excellent vape and is a good break from the fruity/candy flavors I usually vape. It's quite rich in flavor, especially with the BSRipple and RY4, which have some similar flavors going on.
Not one single change or tweak, and I burnt through 30mls of this in no time at all. Just mixed up 120ml so I can get some steep time in and see how it develops. This is going to be a heavy hitter in my ADV rotation! Thanks for publishing!
I left the em out for my own consumption, iirc. All my batches were fine with this recipe so I would try it without, and not feel like you are betraying anyone.
I love this recipe I still come back to it from time to time for my own consumption but I'm constantly making it for my ex girlfriends mom. It's all she vapes lol
Really nice recipe-tweaked the apple down just slightly but for my personal taste only as I love tobacco flavours-probably perfect the way it is.Thanks for sharing this SPV.
it may be because you aren't adding the em -it might just mute/blend it in better, also are you using Cap VC ? Personally I find the Fuji Apple a little strong....so I adjusted-strange though that after time the VC has come out stronger.
I believe I used Cap VC1 on this one, I tend to do the recipe first with original flavours, then do a DAAP free version to check if they compare.
I don't see a CAP VCv2 version in my log, so probably have not done v2 yet.
Thanks for sharing your take on this one chico.
Very very well done. I'm not a huge fan of tobacco flavors since I stopped smoking but my fiance still loves them. I generally like caramel apple vapes too... this was something perfect for both of us. I let it steep for 3 or 4 days and it was light and delicious. I can definitely see why this is rated so high and so many people use it as an ADV. Thanks for sharing!!!
I have CAP Fuji that Ill have to sub if you think itll be ok. Otherwise I have TFA Apple Candy and CAP Double Apple. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
This is a very nice recipe thank you. I really don’t like the flavour of Ry4 D as it tastes like mothballs to me but here I can’t really taste it and it blends in nicely. I did have to make one substitute and that was with the Fugi Apple,I used Cap Apple Pie V2 instead at 5% but it really worked out well. I am determined to get some use out of my Ry4 D and this is the best recipe I have tried by far. Thanks again.
@Lausa,I will definitely get the Fuji. I have actually steeped a couple of popular Ry4 recipes for months and I still taste that note that I don’t like,I have read that this concentrate contains Cyclotene (sorry for my spelling) and apparently some people are sensitive to it,I also notice it in some TPA caramel flavours that contain it.
Didn't have ethyle maltol so I subbed for cap SS at 0.25% and it's working great! Sweet vape but time to let it steep for a week and I shall get back to it and see how it changes.
This is an old recipe but is so good if you just like RY4 but don't want to get into actual tobaccos. obviously there's the bacco caramel and vanilla but with the FW butterscotch ripple and FA fuji this turns into something very spectacular but is only realized if you can wait, allow it to steep proper. CAP VC1 looks heavy but mellows out in time. initially I was afraid to mix a total flavor percentage of 15% considering this recipe is so old but after a long steep I gladly put it in my ADV. I am kuri_sanTou on r/DIY_eJuice
Of my 5 ADVs this is certainly my #1. Its smooth, full of flavor but not to heavy and goes well with coffee, beer and whiskey, which not many vapes do.
Thank you Sad Panda for sharing third recipe! Sadly i missed out on Sad Panda Vapes whilst in business, as it's clear after mixing a couple of your recipes posted here that your shit was better than most of what's available on the retail market. I'm about to mix a batch of your Evening Brew recipe, and judging from your ingredients and ratios I think it's safe to assume it's gonna be a winner. I'll be sure to leave a comment once I've had chance to get into it for a minute. Thanks again for sharing - your inspired work lives on in the DIY scene!
OH PS: I've made 3 batches of this over the last month and all I can say is it's a straight up ADV. If you like tobacco-ish Vapes you'll love this; the tobacco flavor is relatively mild (but perfect) as is the Fuji Apple.
Best bacco recipe I’ve found so far and it’s gonna be a difficult one to beat. The apple is faint but definitely noticeable with some creamy caramel like tones on top of the RY4 Whitco is just the right amount. Top recipe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What i journey i had with this one... i loved the idea straight away and bought all the flavours... it smelt awesome when i made it but i wanted to let it steep at least 3 weeks. I tried it at the 2 week mark and the apple flavour had faded and it didnt taste like much and i was disapointed. Let it go for another week and man giving it that 3rd week bought the apple back, blended it perfectly with the tobacco and butterscotch and made for a delicious all day vape! Well done on this one!
This juice is AMAZING... I is perfect as a SNV for me. I did en up making one adjustment. I added FLV Red Burley, but only 10 drops to 30ml and WOW! Thanks a mill for the recipe.
I made this exactly a month ago today, I tested it a couple times during the steep and wasn't really feeling it until today. I gave it a go cuz I've been on an apple kick today and it really balanced out with the tobacco notes after a month. I'm not big on tobacco vapes, but this is real nice. Clean and smooth and very balanced
I regret only mixing a 10ml tester of this, now I need to wait for a new batch to steep. This will be added to my adv lineup. For me, tastes like the good apple cider, the kind you get at the farmers markets. Thanks for the recipe!

I dont like tabbaco vapes so much, so i need all this years to give this mix a try. The taste is good, but this is not what i like so much on this mix. The point is, its very good to vape. The way, the dark flavors from butterscotch and RY4 play so well with the bright flavour from fuji Apple. I like it alot. Very good balance. Thanks for the recipe
This is wonderful! Best use of RY4 in a recipe I've tried, and that's saying a lot! The caramel apple inhale with mixed that slightly tobacco exhale is excellent! Top class recipe. Thanks for sharing.
PS. For anyone who has these ingredients, do yourself a favor and mix this up, and put it away for a month. When you find it a month later, you'll be in for quite the surprise!
Thanks for this delicious recipe @SADPANDAVAPE. Just mixed this tonight (Feb27). Right off the bat, the SnV test, the Fuji is really nice. I'll be back in a month to share my thought after the advised steeping.
When I first mixed it, I followed the recipe originally. The FA Fuji Apple tasted like vinegar. Maybe my flavor was off. I don't know. I didn't like the FA Fuji Apple. The second time I mixed it without the FA Fuji Apple. It was great. I'm vaping it now. Thank you, @SADPANDAVAPE.
@Dantanio great minds think a like... I did the same thing. Added .25% red burley. Works so well with tfas & jf's ry4s... now I just have to wait on the steep...
