Corn Pops v1 was a good start, but was a touch lacking in flavor in a few departments.
Corn Pops v2 was a big hit, not only with me, but a lot of my friends and family who I make juice for. All it needed was some more KC (+1.5%), a touch more caramel (+0.5%) and sweetener (+0.5%), and the addition of Meringue (1%) for a bit of milky body. I dropped the AP (-1%) because the nuttiness was nice, but not necessarily required. It's all about personal preference though.
It's definitely good to go right after a thorough shake as a S n' V, but I fire it in the ultrasonic cleaner for an hour or 2 just to give the flavors a bit of time to mingle and get to know each other.
A few hours of steeping makes this more like carnival/caramel popcorn, I think the caramel might be too heavy but that's just scent alone. Checked corn pops cereal recipes, other than molasses, whats the call for caramel?
So after a year I'm back to report on this. I've made it like you have it published & I've made three other variations over the past 10-12 months. First off, I REALLY like it! To be honest, I've made it the last 3 times (and like it best) with only minor alterations. AP at 1%, Caramel at 2%, FC at 1%, FLV Marshmallow at 1.5% instead of TFA at 3%, KK at 5.5% & Sweetener at 1%. Thanks for sharing a good one- five stars!
