Notes
Well I wanted a Biscuits and Jam recipe.

Started with the Biscuit. strong but not 100% strong so 1.4%
Needed more butter so FA Butter: .1% (yes it comes through on the steep)
Then it needed more inner texture, but not too sweet of one so biscotto at 1% for that extra cookie/bready/texture. You won't really notice it other than "hey this biscuit has layers". Added some joy for a little extra breadyness and that minor sweetness it has mixes with:

The inside... I chose the shisha for it's jammy qualities (3%) but felt it needed a little more realistic strawberry to help it out so 5% ripe. Throw in a little vienna and cream fresh for that sweetness and (believe it or not the vienna helps the biscuit here because it is naturally "fluffy") you have a biscuits and jam.

If i WAS sb mute, I'd do, 3% red touch, 1%juicy, 1% rfsc sb, .5% forest fruit, .2% inw wild strawberry, and I'd do .15% capella super sweet instead of the shisha and ripe

Can I do this with CAP Butter Cream at 0.25-0.5%?
#2 by Kris-p flavour, Jul 20. 2016, 03:55
Instead of FA Butter, that is.
#3 by Boogenshizzle, Jul 20. 2016, 04:08
You can try it, it won't be exactly what I was looking for. If you have capella butter that would be better

4-6 weeks, like biting a rich buttered biscuit oozing a strawberry jam.

krzysztofkris did you try this with butter cream? I would like to make this but I'm in the same predicament as you.

Didn't really taste nice with CAP Butter Cream instead of FA Butter, I'll try it as intented in the future when I get the missing ingredient.
#18 by Kris-p flavour, Mar 5. 2017, 14:02
I think you're better off omitting the FA Butter altogether if you don't have it than trying to sub it.
#19 by Boogenshizzle, Mar 5. 2017, 14:08
Golden butter would be better
#20 by JayCruz, Apr 24. 2017, 07:45
What's the steep time on this?
#21 by Negan's, Feb 9. 2018, 18:50
Sugar cookie instead of cookie?
#22 by Boogenshizzle, Feb 9. 2018, 18:55
I suppose you could, its a different layer. Will definitely change it.

#24 by Peace Pipe, Feb 12. 2018, 01:58
I made and used only one sub; Golden Butter (CAP) for Butter (FA) at same percentage. Excellent recipe. 5 stars!
#25 by JayDub, Mar 29. 2018, 06:00
Would TPA Butter work as a sub for FA?
#26 by Boogenshizzle, Mar 29. 2018, 13:30
If you must replace the butter, just leave it out.
#27 by JayDub, Mar 29. 2018, 17:01
Oops. Too late. I will see how it turns out. FA butter is going in my cart

I mixed this up on 8/4 and i am not normally a very patient person but I decided I was going to really try and wait this one out. Well tonight it caught my eye, and we are 3 days shy of a month. Holy crap this recipe is fantastic man. The only thing I would change is that I wish I would have mixed a bigger bottle lol. Nice job. This is a keeper!

Using creamy butter at 1% because I like a buttery biscuits and Jam. Recipe is delicious 5 stars
#32 by Eyebrowse, Oct 30. 2019, 22:11
Just mixed this up. After a day's steep it's BEYOND delicious; mindblowingly so!
I've no Strawberry Ripe left so I replaced it with a 50/50 combo of TFA Strawberry and FA Red Touch. I also dropped the butter too.

However, with this second, larger batch I just mixed up, I added a touch (0.1%) of FA's new 'Blueberry Juicy Ripe' because - as well as being incredibly potent (and delicious) - it has an especially dense, authentically-ripe flavour profile with an inherent, unmistakable "buttery-ness" to it.

Abso-bloody-tastic!

I didn't have FA Burro so I swapped with TFA butter and doubled it. So far not getting much cookie but I'll revisit this in 3 days and see how its steeped.
#34 by TheFloridaKayaker, Dec 7. 2019, 01:15
You're not supposed to get much cookie. It's there to boost and flavor the biscuit.

Delicious!.. 5 stars
