how about if mix for 3MG?
#2 by HOSNDUDE, Oct 2. 2016, 12:14
How close a clone is it? Love that juice..
#3 by winginit, Oct 18. 2016, 01:37
Any word on the flavor... well I'll update, just got the flavors in today
#4 by winginit, Oct 18. 2016, 02:37
Ok so I adapted it to 3mg and so far its spot on as a shaker. Lettin it steep a bit, but props man this is a great recipe!! Thanks for the share. Only differences I used tfa strawberry ripe and fw sweet cream. Still turned out great.
#5 by Upshot, Dec 14. 2016, 18:39
@winginit I used the same substitutes you did. It's really good.
Definitely going into my rotation.
#6 by winginit, Dec 26. 2016, 02:04
Glad the subs worked for you Upshot. I did do a trial run with flavoura pineapple, its really lacking in flavor. It doesn't pop as much as flavor apprentice. This is my new adv. I'm chuckin out of a Cleito 120w @ 94-95 watts, tons of flavor!
#7 by HOSNDUDE, Jan 22. 2017, 17:54
Dont you find the coconut extra a bit high a percentage? If its spot on i will give it a go.
#8 by winginit, Jan 22. 2017, 20:26
No the coconut is definitely a background note. I actually went out to get a fresh 60ml to compare it, and this recipe is by far better than the original. The original lava tastes a little more milky, its got more of a yogurt base then this recipe does. I literally gave it away, ill take this recipe over the original any day.

Also side note flavoura pineapple is nasty, I bought a 30 ml of it instead of tfa by accident. It is not at all the same flavor pineapple, almost tastes like its beyond ripe, like a decomposing pineapple. So dont use it as a substitute.
#11 by HOSNDUDE, Jan 22. 2017, 20:43
@winginit. Thanks for that. I tried my own before seeing this and mine was off with everything. Was going to try a new version. Saw this mix and am curious. I think my other mistake was high @3 % with pineapple. Whats ur opinion on strawripe tpa @7 istead of straw tpa? Was going for 5%ripe and 2%straw tpa.
#12 by winginit, Jan 22. 2017, 23:08
I have mixed ripe and straw sweet together and it turns out nice. The strawberry ripe does make it taste more like a real strawberry, using it the combo seems to make more of a candy artificial strawberry. Its still good tho. Just depends on your palate
#13 by HOSNDUDE, Jan 22. 2017, 23:24
Great input thanks. Looks like i have a winner vape. That juice is great and so is hawaiian pog..
#14 by b_dlight, Jan 22. 2017, 23:37
Guys, if you like it, you can try that:
Coconut extra 1%
Strawberry 4%
Strawberry ripe 4%
Coconut 0.25%
Almond (NOT TOASTED!) 0.2%
Dairy milk 1%
Sweet cream 0.75-1%
Pineapple 1%

You can try it like shake and vape, and later after 2 weeks steep time, coconuts and almond going to the background, but pineapple and strawberry will come stronger.
(If you like PPAP-you can try 2-3% pineapple, but only with 2 weeks steeping time)

Enjoy, and if you want-you can ask me about some
#15 by HOSNDUDE, Jan 23. 2017, 06:59
Thanks will try that also. Will let you know.
#16 by winginit, Jan 23. 2017, 07:11
I haven't picked up almond yet but its in my future order. Thanks for the share that looks great. I was on vacation and I tried Costello by Fussi, its amazing. Its a toasted almond, vanilla and i think carmel bourbon. Im usually more into the sweet vapes, but that stuff was amazing. Im going to work on a similar recipe soon.
#17 by winginit, Jan 23. 2017, 07:21
Just realized this was your recipe, wanted to thank you. This has been me and my wife's adv. Whenever we get tired of chasin for a new flavor we always seem to come back to this. So i just wanted to give you some deserved props on this recipe.
#18 by HOSNDUDE, Feb 7. 2017, 10:42
I have to say thank you for adding another juice to my ADV rotation. Well done as good as or better than original.
#19 by b_dlight, Feb 12. 2017, 15:43
Guys, if you want, I can show you a bunch of recipes and their clones. But I would like to see objective criticism from you and your friends

Do you think Cap Golden pineapple will be an ok substitute?
#24 by AmethystAnnie, Mar 4. 2017, 01:11
Excellent recipe, pretty bang on.
#25 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Mar 7. 2017, 01:29
does anyone have a recipe for Naked 100's Very Cool? I seemed to find a recipe for every other flavor for Naked 100 except Very Cool and its the best flavor Ive ever tasted. thanks everybody
#26 by Gtrfrk83, Mar 7. 2017, 02:24
Never had the original but this is delish!
#27 by b_dlight, Mar 7. 2017, 20:39

Naked 100 Frost Bite
5% Cantaloupe (TPA)
3% Cool Mint (CAP)
15% Golden Pineapple (CAP)
5% Honeydew (TPA)

http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/naked-100-frost-bite/
#29 by Mohdo, Apr 7. 2017, 17:17
Thank you so much for this. I never had the original but this taste fantastic. I don't have TFA pineapple so i substituted it with TFA pineapple juicy 1.5% gave it that juicyfruit gum type taste.
#30 by Myrad, Apr 14. 2017, 00:55
Good vape as is, if you want to enhance it a bit try replacing the sweet cream with vanilla custard (TPA) same percentage just a straight swap for the cream. Found it smoother and an easier vape
#31 by masterstephenvapesologies, May 3. 2017, 12:28
was delicious, and the girl i made it for said it was spot on. making some for myself now. Thx 4 sharing!
#32 by next2kin, May 19. 2017, 22:06
Amazing!
#33 by simon, May 25. 2017, 13:43
So whats the overall verdict? 10/10 clone?
#34 by sezze, May 31. 2017, 02:17
For me , this Lava flow clone , is not really a clone , but it's even better then the original . Less creamy , more tasty fruit . Better overal and a big 5 stars from me .
ps : i did use strawberry and strawberry sweet . Both are perfectly compatible and i like strawberry sweet a bit more ( but both versions are better then original ) .
#35 by Stratos X., Jun 30. 2017, 12:07
b_dlight my friend, have a nice day !!! i would like to ask you something. Can i put the SWEET STRAWBERRY and what % ??
#36 by b_dlight, Jul 2. 2017, 16:34
@Stratos X you can try it 5-7% for your taste
#37 by Stratos X., Jul 2. 2017, 16:36
Thank you very much!!!! :) :)
#38 by pponu, Jul 6. 2017, 19:26
this is pretty good, but doesn`t taste like the original, i think they are using capella flavoring
#39 by BichoTheChef, Jul 13. 2017, 05:28
im trying sub for Cap Sweet strawberry and Golden pinneaple ... just cause i dont have the others and ill update... any recomendations on goldenP to sub?
#40 by Jason , Jul 26. 2017, 02:12
How you chose TPA Pineapple with TPA Strawberry Ripe at these percentages was pure genius -- has a great bite on the end of the vape that is hard to capture. This recipe should have more stars. Great Job!
#41 by Jason , Jul 26. 2017, 02:24
I should also mention that I used CAP Sweet Cream at the same %age and it turned out great.
#42 by Geb, Aug 3. 2017, 00:08
Mixed this about 20 minutes ago. It's a true snv mix. Very good after just a few minutes rest. Like most juices it will likely meld nicely after a few days. The coconut is very much in the background. I may vary my next bottle of this slightly - perhaps adding 1 - 1.5 FLV sweet coconut to the TPA coconut extra (I like a stronger coconut note in most juices) and will likely blend the TPA strawberry with either strawberry ripe, sisha strawberry or strawberry sweet. All in all an easy ADV. 5 star mix - nothing overpowers and well balanced.
#43 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Aug 3. 2017, 00:25
A.D.V.,Thanks for the Very Cool Clone Recipe, Ive been trying to make it with cap Blueberry, cap Raspberry and Cap Blackberry with the same amount of ethol maltal and Arctic Winter Menthol (FA), but that COOL HIT is really hard to master, Im going to order some TPA Menthol 10%, hell, that is the only menthol I dont have, lol, Ill give your recipe a try, Ill try the Harvest Berry this time around, you know what, I will try it exactly the way you said, when I get the TPA Menthol 10% in I will mix it up and give it a shot, Ill let you know how it turns out, Thank again A.D.V.
#44 by Geb, Aug 3. 2017, 00:34
@Josh - if you really like menthol one you might want to try (if you haven't already) is DIYFS super strong menthol drops (that's the name of it). It has a slight minty taste (as all menthols do) but I some times vape it at 1.5% with no other flavoring. it's way better than koolada and some of the other cooling agents.
#45 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Aug 3. 2017, 01:52
Thank you so much for the advise Geb, I will definitely take you suggestion, I REALLY LOVE THIS WHOLE DIY COMMUNITY, everyone is so helpful to each other, Niccceeeeeee!!!!!!!
#46 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Aug 3. 2017, 02:39
what site has that super strong menthol drops, I cant find it
#47 by Geb, Aug 3. 2017, 03:18
try here: https://www.diyflavorshack.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Powerful+Menthol+Drops

they changed it up a little since I purchased it a few months ago. mine came in a dark blue glass bottle. this looks to be the same stuff though.
#48 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Aug 3. 2017, 04:13
thanks again
#49 by vlad, Aug 12. 2017, 08:04
I tried all the suggestions posted here but nothing tastes like original. The difference is huge. The manufacture definitely uses different way of extracting flavors. If someone really wants to enjoy the vape - go and buy the original and do not waste money on ingredients because it's not gonna work
#50 by Geb, Aug 12. 2017, 13:45
@vlad - why don't YOU just keeping buying the original? I think most people DIY to SAVE money not spend it on commercial juice. According to the calculator this juice cost me less than $1 to mix. The original is at least $20. This I never had the original but this juice is quite good. There is a lava flow remix on ATF mixed with FLV Sweet Coconut which is also very good. The whole point of DIY is you may or may not get an exact clone of a commercial juice but you may end up with something "good enough" or in some cases better than the original. If you are looking for that commercial juice taste why not try mixing it as described and then adding 3 - 4% sweetener to the juice.
#51 by vlad, Aug 12. 2017, 15:51
@Geb, Sorry for confusion. I appreciate the effort of those who tried to clone the e-juice but I just wanted to warn some people who expect the same taste quality as the original. They will be disappointed like I was. I'm not saying this e-liquid is bad just it's far from Lava Flow.
#52 by Geb, Aug 12. 2017, 16:15
@vlad - I suspect most people who try this recipe will never have tasted the original. this is probably true for many many recipes here on ELR. I haven't purchased commercial juice in almost a year and I've seen comments of others who say they haven't purchased commercial juice in two years or more. Even when I did buy juice I never used to buy fruity flavors - I purchased damn near every vanilla custard I could find (many of them sucked btw) but almost no fruit juices. Based on that alone there are going to be a ton of recipes I wouldn't be able to tell you is close or far from the original. The longer you DIY the less likely you are to have tried new to the market juices. So for a good chunk of people who try these recipes it comes down whether they like the mix or not. How close or far it is from the original won't matter since they've never tasted the original.

one last thing... if you think this juice is not close to the original why not tweak it and post your changes/suggestions to ELR? I've never tasted original Lava Flow so I can't say what's missing or too low or too high. But you can. If it needs more pineapple or whatever, say so. This way people looking for an exact clone will know how they need to change the recipe to get close to the original. That's why many times when you search a recipe you see stuff like Lava Flow V1, Lava Flow V2 etc. It's people tweaking recipes to get closer to an original or just making a juice taste better.
#53 by frankdanktank, Aug 12. 2017, 20:45
I agree @vlad this juice tastes literally nothing like the original.. Made it exactly the way recipe is... Original is so good i die trying to make this juice...
#54 by frankdanktank, Aug 12. 2017, 20:46
@Geb relax.. Holy....
#55 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Aug 12. 2017, 21:11
@Geb, ur totally correct with what you said, and if someone says something that rubs you the wrong way, comment on it like you did, some people can really be a**Holes and expect everything to be perfect, but nothing is perfect, if they actually read the comments they will understand, thanks again for the suggestion for the super strong Menthol drops, Very Nice!!!!
#56 by Geb, Aug 12. 2017, 21:32
@Frank - why are you even mixing this juice? I seriously don't get that. If the original is so good why muck around with a poor copy? Why bother with DIY at all? The point of this site is to get recipes, post recipes and add improvements to existing recipes. Some recipes are going to be the bomb and some not so much. There is no need to tell me to relax. I'm just reminding users of what this site is for. Where's your perfect Lava Flow recipe? According to you, this one clearly isn't a good clone. Rather than complain about it post a good clone for people who love the original so much. I don't spend $20 one bottle of juice anymore. There's no need for ME to do so. That same $20 can me 5 -
10 flavors from which I can hundreds of mls of good juice. These ELR recipes are good enough - and often better than merely good. I don't throw out good in hopes of finding perfect.
#57 by frankdanktank, Aug 12. 2017, 22:02
Write an essay about it.. Didnt even read.
#58 by Geb, Aug 12. 2017, 22:48
good. although I attached your name it wasn't really for you. it's karmic food for thought so the next asshole who complains about a recipe he does nothing to improve, will think twice before posting his nonsense critique. this comment isn't for you either so don't read it. if you do bother to read I'll take satisfaction knowing it's child's play for me to get under your skin.
#59 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Aug 13. 2017, 02:36
preach on Geb, school these unappreciative folks, Im not pointing finger at anyone, I am just agreeing with Gebs reason for his comments, its a reminder that we are all in this together and help each other out not tare each other down, This VAPE community is awesome, sometime there are a few rotten eggs, but it all about sharing and sharing is caring. lol, Seriously tho Frank, when I saw you told Geb to relax, it kinda rubbed me the wrong way and I dont even know Geb, but that being said THIS IS ALL ABOUT HELPING EACH OTHER FIND GREAT RECIPES SO THAT WE ALL DONT SMOKE THE DEATH STICKS ANYMORE, Everyone needs to keep that in mind and keep negative thoughts to your self, especially cause eveyones tastes are different....
#60 by vlad, Aug 14. 2017, 18:51
@Geb, Who said I was not trying? )) I just ordered some new ingredients from FlavorShack web store and going to give it another shot. I doubt I would make anything close to original but at least I hope I comp up with something vapable )))
#61 by Clonemaster, Aug 26. 2017, 18:30
Never had the original but man this stuff is tasty! I mean really tatsy! I mix all the time and this is one of the best throw togather flavors Ive had!
#62 by Clonemaster, Aug 26. 2017, 18:32
Everyone...try this one!
#63 by Apakekdah, Sep 6. 2017, 10:18
Tooo much coconut.. where the original it's only have a little tase like coconut..
#64 by Geb, Oct 19. 2017, 01:43
out of curiosity I purchased a bottle of naked 100 lava flow (because it was on sale 60ml bottle for $12 delivered and I was really curious). as I suspected, this recipe is much better than the original.
#65 by Techonrye, Oct 24. 2017, 19:10
Made this today swapped the sweetener for TPA marshmallow. I got punched in the face by coconut and pineapple. The strawberry is struggling. I do not find this anywhere in the neighborhood of the original. I'm going to try some steeping for the sake of the strawberry and maybe try adjusted percentages.
#66 by Clonemaster, Nov 3. 2017, 04:17
Just tried the original today....this is way better. The ripe straw works much better than the sweet straw they use. They push the % on their strawberry too much! It's not bad but like I said this is better. I did add another quarter percent pineapple and all who try it love it. Actually did side by side and everyone chose mine in a blind test. Boom!
#67 by Iamcody4, Dec 24. 2017, 02:48
Never tried the original, but this is the fruity coconut recipe that I didn’t know I needed!
#68 by Stottles, Dec 30. 2017, 02:02
Haven't tried the original, but love this recipe! Currently my ADV, cheers for sharing!
#69 by b_dlight, Jan 2. 2018, 11:25
If you are love tropical fruits, you can try this
e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1212061/Guava%20King
#70 by Marc, Feb 6. 2018, 18:26
As a shake and vape it was ok....the coconut extra is a little strong with that caramel/plastic taste,,,,However, after a week or two steeping it is fantastic.A great ADV It has easily earned a place in my tank rotation.Great job!
#71 by Geb, Feb 6. 2018, 23:32
@Marc - this is even better if you sub the TPA coconut extra for FLV Sweet Coconut.
#72 by Marc, Feb 7. 2018, 05:25
Thought about doing that.....thanks, I'll try it.
#73 by Sherjay, Feb 18. 2018, 20:37
I vaped lavaflow and frostbite exclusively for about 4 months before i started Dyi a few months ago ordered flavors for this and another frostbite recipe really excited to try this will report back , hoping its even better than the original.
#74 by Anborn90, Feb 28. 2018, 21:48
Guys use Coconut FA. Much better flavor than tpa cocunut extra. Use max 1-1,5%
#75 by Geb, Feb 28. 2018, 22:55
@Anborn90 - FLV sweet coconut is even better than FA in this mixed. I've tried it with all 3. FLV mixes the best in this.
#76 by Anborn90, Feb 28. 2018, 23:30
Ok ... but I don't wanna buy it :D
#77 by Geb, Feb 28. 2018, 23:36
I hear you. FLV sweet coconut is pricey. still, best coconut on the market imo.
#78 by Anborn90, Feb 28. 2018, 23:37
Next time I will make a big order I will buy a 10 ml ;)
#79 by FrayedJ, Mar 3. 2018, 20:17
I'm just starting out in DIY and have bought enough of the original to make Naked owners rich. This was my 3rd attempt at a recipe and it turned out great even with adapting it to 4mg. Thanks b_dlight
#80 by EranBarak, Mar 10. 2018, 17:25
My favorite recipe so far. very good flavor but for some reason, It takes me a little of steeping until I get the strawberry taste.
#81 by Therapy, Mar 18. 2018, 15:50
What can the sweet cream be substituted with?
#82 by Sherjay, Mar 22. 2018, 06:04
Okay finished a tank of lava flow then made this snv and tried it , strawberry isn’t as pronounced but that might change with some steep time. More of a coconut flavor but I really like coconut so I think this is better than the original . Did sub super sweet for the sweetener and only used a 3rd. Definitely will be making this one a lot.
#83 by Anborn90, Mar 22. 2018, 08:26
I tried this one and the original ans the original is much more sweet
#84 by TH3JUICEMAN, Mar 24. 2018, 20:58
As a previous fan of lava flow prior to starting DIY, I can say that this is a tasty clone. Exact? Probably not. But still really good. I let it steep for 2 weeks, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Thanks!
#85 by RaGCaR, Mar 26. 2018, 20:38
Quick question. I've everything but coconut extra. I have regular coconut. Should I up it slightly or just use same %?
#86 by b_dlight, Mar 26. 2018, 23:14
@RaGCaR 1.5%
#87 by RaGCaR, Mar 26. 2018, 23:23
Thanks.
#88 by kyle007, Mar 28. 2018, 22:33
I'm gonna make 500ml of this soon. @b_dlight, do you still suggest the same ingredients with the same percentages? I'm asking, maybe you have tweaked it a bit after all the iterations. :)
#89 by pottsie09, Apr 20. 2018, 04:36
Ok so just mixed this up I haven’t used coconut or pineapple much.. at all lol. So questionssss came out cloudy and tried a drop on the tongue had a bite for sure. Normal? Just needs time not gonna throw on a new wick yet gonna give at least 24hr Rockne together thanks man keep doing you I appreciate it!
#90 by kyle007, Apr 20. 2018, 17:56
I've made a 50ml of this recipe. Taste wonderful. HOWEVER, i feel that it's a bit of a DRY vape tbh. I have no idea how to make it more wet and moist. Maybe adding TPA Marshmallow?
#91 by federete, Apr 21. 2018, 22:24
So far, with one day of steeping it tastes a bit like plastic - hope this goes off after steeping as someone said
#92 by Geb, Apr 21. 2018, 23:32
@kyle007 - .25% (that's 1/4%) of cactus will add wetness to a fruit mix. @federete - the plastic taste is the coconut extra. it does steep out after a few days. I prefer this mix with 1.5% FLV sweet coconut. it has no plastic taste but does slightly change the profile of this juice.
#93 by federete, Apr 26. 2018, 00:16
I am running out of TFA Strawberry. Would Innawera Shisha strawberry be a good substitute?
#94 by federete, Apr 26. 2018, 00:16
And thanks, @Geb, the plastic taste is gone!
#95 by Horsethief, May 2. 2018, 22:34
Made about 500ml of this so far and starting another 100 mow. All adjusted to 6mg. Much better than the original as others have said. Ran out of strawberry myself a month or two ago and subbed mixed berry at same %. Came out great, just a tad sweeter/flatter. missing a micro smidge of tartness the strawberry gave. Wouldnt hesitate to mix that way again..ive also subbed it for BlackBerry, forest fruit, tutti fruiti, and Hawaiian drink. All came out tasty to me.. I love the pineapple, coconut base, and think any fruit would be pretty good with it... thanx for sharing this recipe!!
#96 by North Fog, May 5. 2018, 00:38
All I taste is sun tan lotion. Dotmod 24 , fresh dual alien coils, dotmod mech w/ full charge 18650. I bought coconut extra just for this recipe because people said it’s a backnote. Hopefully after a steep I don’t have to dump this.
#97 by BigMacZA, May 13. 2018, 10:22
Loving this recipe. Has become an ADV. Coconut is not overpowering. I subbed the pineapple stated for CAP Golden Pineapple at sane percentage and it's great. Fantastic shake n vape
#98 by lt4-396, May 17. 2018, 04:03
Should I use the same % for CAP sweet cream? I also dont have EM, how important is it in this recipe... I'm new to diy and bought about 30 flavors, obviously that's nothing since I have a cart with nearly another 65 flavors... ah it's still cheaper than paying for commercial juice that 1/3 of the time I give away because its terrible.
#99 by Mmh1972 , May 19. 2018, 03:41
1% coconut extra is too much imo.. Has anyone else lowered it to .3% or lower? Maybe FA is a better option
#100 by TheBlindArcherMX, Jun 7. 2018, 02:06
Is it possible to substitue TFA sweetener for CAP super sweet? I know CAP's quite stronger but I don't know if it's worth the try!
#101 by federete, Jun 30. 2018, 17:57
This recipe is great. To those recommending FLV sweet coconut, what % you recommend? I love this recipe but I am not totally into the TPA Coconut extra flavour. Planning also on sub TPA Pineapple with CAP Golden pineapple because TPA pineapple fades a bit too much in my opinion. Suggestions for % of CAP Golden pineapple?
#102 by lt4-396, Jun 30. 2018, 18:54
I used 2.5 cap golden pineapple but I was looking for a stronger PA. I also used 1.25 -1.5 FA coconut and it came out amazing
#103 by b_dlight, Jul 1. 2018, 21:47
So, guys
You’re living in USA/EU, and why you just can’t smoke weed?
#104 by lt4-396, Jul 2. 2018, 00:40
Oh I do but homemade concentrates like shatter and absolute 80% and up pure concentrates
#105 by federete, Jul 5. 2018, 00:39
My attempt with "Sweet Coconut (Flavorah)" at 1% was a failure. Maybe it's just I don't like coconut. In my opinion Coconut extra (TPA) is a more real coconut flavour (I do not totally dislike it), whereas the sweet coconut is more artificial and sweet (I don't like it, at least at 1%). I'll stick to the original recipe, and will test mixing Pineapple (TPA) con Golden pineapple (CAP).
Sorry if this is of no interest... no weed here :-)
#106 by lt4-396, Jul 5. 2018, 05:54
My new favorite. Has been dragon fruit. 1% makes the rest of the fruits really pop without distortion of the original recipe. Flavour arts are imo the best flavoring, def. Give them a try.
#107 by yatopaz, Jul 22. 2018, 23:10
the best clone i ever tried....better than the original.tnxxx
#108 by trochele, Jul 26. 2018, 02:02
Stated simply.... this is not even close to a clone of Lava Flow.
Sweet strawberry is the only strawberry needed and golden pineapple instead of pineapple. With the sweet straw and coconut extra no sweetener is needed. Unless you like a really sweet vape experience.

Full disclosure I have not mixed this exact recipe but
Sweet straw at 7%
Golden pinepple at 1-2%
Coconut extra at 1%
Sweet Cream at 1% and maybe
Your sweetener of choice at 0.5-1%
Provides a 1:1 clone of Lava Flow

Most won’t even need to add the sweetener as you have plenty of sweet already with the sweet straw, sweet cream and coconut extra. All three of these flavors add notes of sweetness to the recipe.

Pretty surprised at how close this is as a SNV! Definitely going in my rotation! Thanks for sharing!
#110 by mossyk, Sep 17. 2018, 14:38
this is a damn good remix! i did it without the sweetner and it vapes fine that way too. thanks for sharing!
#111 by MHeron16, Sep 22. 2018, 10:04
Cheers!
#112 by Stacy, Oct 1. 2018, 21:33
There is a lot of bad recipes on this site...but this one is really good...bravo
#113 by Freddie, Oct 2. 2018, 23:35
Didn't have plain SB or Coconut Extra. But made this and its Fn nice!

Strawberry Ripe(TPA) 4.00%
Sweet Strawberry (CAP) 4.00%
Coconut Candy (TPA) 2.00%
Golden Pineapple (CAP) 1.00%
Sweet Cream (TPA) 1.50%
Sweetener (TPA) 1.00%

Yea
#115 by Lilred82, Nov 28. 2018, 02:29
I substituted the coconut and pineapple with flavorwest flavors, used cotton candy TPA and DX sweet cream TPA. Made it at 12mg with nic salt. Delicious. Thank you for sharing :)

@ b_dlight Thanks for sharing with us. Really appreciate your time and efforts. Also want to thank @Geb who is helping others.
I will try to make exact as OP posted and will get back to you. Thanks
#117 by yatopaz, Dec 1. 2018, 11:52
this is my adv....cant vape anything else...how can i make it 50/50 to pods?i tried but it not tests the same...
#118 by user13, Dec 6. 2018, 02:01
@yatopaz for pods you basically significantly increase or even double % of all ingredients and then fine-tune to your liking because 14% of strawberry might be too much
#119 by Hex403, Dec 21. 2018, 22:15
Not %100 Lava flow, but definitely close. Used this recipe for my 1st DIY, and I'm quite happy with the taste.
#120 by Mmh1972 , Dec 28. 2018, 03:46
Not bad as a S-n-V but i suggest a good steep possibly 4 weeks
#121 by MarkS, Jan 26. 2019, 23:57
Thanks for a great recipe. Had to sub TPA Coconut Extra for TPA Coconut, and Strawberry for Strawberry (Ripe) at the same percentages and it came out great. Nice and tangy Pineapple flavoured juice.
#122 by Dionisis C., Feb 21. 2019, 14:19
that thing smells amazing!
#123 by boomboy, Mar 6. 2019, 07:06
This is AMAZING !!! ... i have not tried the original one ... but whatever this is ... its very good ... Thank You.
#124 by elioliquid, Apr 11. 2019, 10:52
Very very GOOD! One of the best in five years vaping. In summer it will be perfect to go beach and have a drink with. Maybe some drops of jamaican rum do not hurt. Sub only golden pineapple and cotton candy & marshmallow instead sweetener. Very clear liquid and not to much %, IS Perfect!
#125 by Elites, Apr 11. 2019, 17:40
I added 2% real flavor Pinrappel for extra pineapple taste and it's amazing. Thanks for sharing
#126 by cincinnatiking, Apr 13. 2019, 02:15
I smell a tiny bit of Capella Sweet Guava
#127 by DrejzLV, Apr 30. 2019, 18:57
Never tried this, but made adaptation of your recipe as a test sample and love the outcome, thanks for sharing!
#128 by nonsmoker, Jun 15. 2019, 19:18
Never had the original but this is very good if you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. This has worked it's way into my ADV rotation.
#129 by NewBoy, Jun 29. 2019, 14:24
Amazed at how good this was as a SnV. Made 30ml test batch and loving it. Found no need to tinker with it as its great as is. Will def be making more. Thanks for sharing. 5*
#130 by cincinnatiking, Jun 29. 2019, 20:44
INAWERA PINEAPPLE
#131 by CR, Jun 30. 2019, 21:24
Never tried the original but this is SO tasty! Coconut is not overbearing and it all melds into tropical goodness.
#132 by TwinsWin, Aug 2. 2019, 13:59
O read all the comments to thisl.. Hey @Geb you need to relax...OOOHHHH! I just got Naked 100s Lava Flow and it's one of the better commercial liquids I've tasted. I don't buy much pre-made juice anymore but got it on a whim. I need two flavors to try this out, but I'll get them. I'm not expecting a 1:1 clone but if it tastes good then that's good enough for me. The original is well balanced. I cant really pick out any of the flavors except for strawberry. It tastes ALOT like 🍓 Flavor West Strawberry 🍓 Not many people even bother trying that flavor but I love it and I'm pretty familiar with it. Thanks for posting this. I look forward to trying it.
#133 by Scootinio, Aug 18. 2019, 00:10
Tried this but used drip hacks ethol matol. It’s nice but probably too sweet for me
#134 by Wilyoctopus , Sep 1. 2019, 16:32
Awesome recipe!
I changed out the pineapple and the coconut, upped the flavor percentage to 14 for the pod. Delicious!
#135 by KLMGLM, Sep 18. 2019, 02:21
Very Good!! Nice Clone
I kicked up the coconut a to 1.5 ml, used SS instead and made 60ml and im good to go!
Thx!
#136 by Saleh, Sep 22. 2019, 02:48
It's awesome! thanks mate
#137 by LeXXXuZ, Sep 30. 2019, 12:59
Always keep coming back to this.
Steep time is about 5 days imho.
Thank you for this recipe!
#138 by 22anden, Oct 7. 2019, 19:33
This stuff is wicked awesome I made a 15 ml tasted it then immediately made a 60 ml waayyyy better than the original as I just started diy and I'm never buying juice ever again!!!Tha KS for the recipe I'll be vaping this for a long time!!
#139 by Casstraxx, Oct 19. 2019, 05:16
Better than the original! I did make a few tweaks. I used golden pineapple to replace the pineapple, Oba Oba instead of sweet cream, and .5% of super sweet. Might even get rid of the super sweet next time, this mix is sweet enough. Definitly going to do a 60ml of this.
#140 by andrebosa, Oct 20. 2019, 02:43
This is insane! I have swapped coconut extra 4 coconut TPA and taste really good! Ty
#141 by 22anden, Oct 20. 2019, 03:06
It is good I thought it was nasty after a few days but it was just steeping and now after 2 weeks it's great it was great fresh too
#142 by Mmh1972 , Oct 29. 2019, 06:42
4 week steep and lower coconut 50%...still very good as listed..
#143 by Sugavapes88, Nov 10. 2019, 13:37
I legit have been on this recipe for 8 months for my adv. I did dial the strawberry to 6% and use TPA cotton candy in place of the suraclose
#144 by MarylinC, Jan 14. 2020, 00:26
Thank you b_dlight for sharing this. It's actually way better than the branded version which I found had a bit of an unpleasant chemically taste whereas your recipe doesn't.

I'm new to mixing and this was the first recipe I tried and my first ever batch came out brilliantly.

I've slightly modified the recipe to suit my own taste (I have a bit of a sweet tooth).

I'm making a 70/30 VG/PG mix with 3mg Nic and vaping it on my Mesh Pro tank. My recipe now has:-
Coconut Extra (TFA) - 1.5%
Pineapple Juicy (TFA) - 1.5%
Sweet Strawberry (TFA) - 7%
Sweet Cream (CAP) - 4%
Super Sweet (CAP) - 1%
#145 by franco, Feb 2. 2020, 17:33
Coconut Extra at 1% is almost unvapable to me.
#146 by Mark, Feb 16. 2020, 06:07
Seriously thought this would be one that would go straight in the bin but surprisingly I've gone through the whole 10ml tester in a day! Not sure it's an adv for me but definitely a nice change!
#147 by Danilo, Jun 2. 2020, 15:42
I'm new in DIY juices, and I have to say I love this recipe, easy to make, shake and vape, but with a little steep time the strawberry really comes to light. Thanks for sharing
#148 by Mindfloodz, Sep 23. 2020, 22:34
I tried this recipe, but the coconut was just not balanced for my liking, overpowering like Hawaiian Tropic lotion. I adapted from this recipe to tone down the coconut and bring up the creaminess and complexity of the strawberries. I used Golden Pineapple by PUR to provide a bit of acidity and balance

#149 by D00m, Dec 29. 2020, 18:48
Perfect clone, spot on. I used cap golden pineapple and strawberry sweet though because I didn't have TPA versions and It was more or less the same. Good job.
#150 by Patrovsky, Feb 17. 2021, 05:32
Just made this at 3 mg 80/20 mix with same ratio of flavorings. Tried a SNV and it comes off as a creamy coconut with undertones of strawberry and pineapple. Added a few more drops of the pineapple to hopefully help it come out more and plan to steep for a week or so. Overall though I like it so far and I'm sure with steeping it will only get better!
#151 by TheJuiceFairy, Mar 4. 2021, 15:12
🤩
I rarely mix other people’s recipes but I mixed this on a challenge to see if a recipe using old school flavors could possibly be good. I had my doubts but it is very good!!
Normally I keep my comments short and sweet but.. The back and forth in the comments had me rolling 🤣. People really arguing over how NOT close this is to the original??? OMG! Who cares! If it’s good it’s good!! I made it. For subohm I adapted the recipe to my taste 👅 but I absolutely love the combo of the flavors and the simplicity of this recipe.
In my high VG mix I only used 0.5% Coconut Extra, I subbed TFA Pineapple with INW pineapple, and I subbed TFA Sweet Cream for 0.5% FLV sweet cream.
The point is that even though I needed to do a little tweaking for my personal taste this recipe was a fantasy jump start because of its simplicity. I used the OP recipe for my pod mix and it was perfect exactly as listed!! I find that for 12mg nic it was PERFECT as is and very tasty!!
Thanks for your contribution to the DIY community!! 🥂
#152 by TheJuiceFairy, Mar 4. 2021, 15:15
Btw I made sure to give it ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ because that helps other people find this recipe. Looking through the comments they will also find alternative ways to mix it.
#153 by Moondancer93, Apr 2. 2021, 23:36
This is delicious. I seem to have trouble with tfa strawberry it tastes more candy to me. I'm going to try with tfa ripe instead but this is still delicious👍great job!
#154 by Moondancer93, Apr 2. 2021, 23:38
For what it's worth though I agree with Geb that most people on here probably haven't bought commercial in quite some time. I only just recently bought a commercial and wasnt that fond of it, too sweet after diying for a year....
#155 by Geb, Apr 3. 2021, 00:30
@Moondancer93 - I've not been back to the comments in a couple of years. I just reread my comments. Totally forget that I got into it with a couple folks over how close/not close this recipe is. The irony is that in 2021 there won't be too many jerks complaining about recipes now. with PACT, no shipping of juices and juice companies closing left and right - for plenty of us it's DIY or nothing. lol
#156 by elioliquid, Nov 9. 2021, 19:12
Muy bueno!con piña colada también.
#157 by Sugavapes88, Nov 9. 2021, 21:38
I commented two years ago saying I’ve been ADVing this recipe for 8 months, it is still my ADV today
#158 by Patrovsky, Nov 21. 2021, 21:37
Commented like 9 months ago that I made a large batch of this juice. Just made my second large batch! Love this flavor. 10/10 would recommend for anyone to try this. Has definitely been a ADV for me!
#159 by uscgrd, May 18. 2022, 15:41
Although I don't get a flavor of a 1:1 clone. The recipe is one of my favorite go to when I mix. As mentioned in the comments you can just straight up mix this recipe as is to you tweak it to your hearts content. Thanks for this delicious recipe.
#160 by Greger, May 27. 2022, 09:09
Steeped it for 3 weeks, don't really taste the strawberry, might be my shitty pallet. Taste more pineapply and a bit coconutty, guess the strawberry blends well and increase their flavor. Didn't start off to good for me, 1 week steep 2*, then increased 1* per week steep. Maybe it will be a 5* by next week. Pretty decent vape for sure!
#161 by Wolf O’hearn, Nov 7. 2023, 20:27
Super flavorfull mix for my pod. Thank you
#162 by Banchuk, Feb 22, 17:31
Amazing mix. I decided to skip the sweetener and used Pineapple Juicy TPA instead of regular pineapple. Steeped overnight my test mix. Can taste sweetness of coconut, cream and strawberry with a bit of sour pineapple.
Using Dotshell with 0.3 coil, a big batch will be made with a longer steep time today !
