So I have been working on an Apple Butter liquid for a couple months when I saw Jon Goldboro's entry of Apple Buttah for the DIY or DIE contest. I mixed up his recipe to see how it tasted compared to mine and was surprised at how close the two were.
So here is my version if anyone wants to try. Just a heads up, his recipe has more of a tart apple flavor while mine is a bit more of a sweet apple flavor.
Buttery smooth, just the right amount of sweetness, this is on par with Gold's DIYorDIE winning entry, only a touch sweeter and more of a pie filling without the crust taste. Great as a SnV (just made 30mL to try this out) but I'll be making a TON more! Excellent job on this, well done! 5 stars rating heading your way!
@FlyfisherPete, Thanks for the kind words. Your description is spot on. Exactly what I was aiming for. Just the way my Grandmother used to make it when I wasa kid.
I am looking for a redcipe that tasts the same as "Demon Vape - Fontana 4706" ejuice.. Do you or anybody in the comment section know if this tast anything like the one i want ?? :) Thanks! Looks good, so i will end up mixing it anyway in the future.. But i am kinda set on finding this demon vape juice recipe first... Have one that is fairly Close. But not quite there yet... missing maybe 1 or 2 aromas in my recipe for it....
I'm afraid I haven't tried that Demon Vape - Fontana 4706 either. Sorry I can't help you out much either.
Whether this hits the mark for the Demon Vape or not, it's dang good, I will say that! I've tried it as above, and then with adding just a few drops of amber and INA Cactus, and both are fantastic. You don't need the amber or cactus, though, but it does round out the apple and make it a "wetter" vape. The amber is called something like golden amber or yellow amber, something like that - I don't have it in front of me right now, and my mind's drawing a blank... sorry.
I haven't tried double apple - don't know that I even own it - but have tried green apple and it isn't bad. Not the same, but it is a tasty mix. A little more tart, as can be expected, but if you like that sort of thing (as I do) it is a very pleasant vape. Certainly want to add the INA cactus with it, or it is a much drier vape (some may prefer that - it has a "crisp tart apple" vibe to it), but it's not my thing. I added 7 drops INA Cactus (bottle dispenses 44 drops/mL, if you want to calculate out what that is in mL amount) per 30mL ejuice mix, of the Cactus in a 3% green apple mix. I personally don't feel the need for amber with the green apple mix.
Again, certainly not the original... but it is still a very tasty mix. Sorry I can't comment on the double apple. Let me know what you think, if you do go that route.
Demon. Ape fontana is one of those nasty Malaysian juice I think, would not vape anything out of that place to be honest lol, they all lie about the ingredients and the nastys cause there country has no regulations like the rest of the world lol
Just got some double apple on a whim, to try it out for ColonelRebFan. It works for the recipe, but it isn't the original. Still a very tasty mix. Much more "fruity" apple flavor, and not quite as dry or crisp of an apple. I've been playing around with upping the "apple pie" flavoring in this mix, and haven't gotten it to my liking yet but it does add some depth to the flavor. Also have also been trying just a very VERY small dose of funnel cake and kettle corn to this - like 0.5% and 0,25% respectively - I know it sounds crazy, but it adds a sweet doughy component that is the pie crust minus the dryness of the crust. Been playing around with that, and, well, I'm still in the stage where I am messing with the flavor ratios, enjoying it, but things are not quite where I want them to be. It is certainly not the original, though. Might even add some cereal 27. Haven't tried that yet. Again, in super-low amounts, like 0.25% or so. Will play around with it and report back.
@The_Ckemist sayin a juice is nasty without trying it... well thats just silly tbh.. And i have seen the lab this juice is sade in. As far as ingredients og, i am not more hessitant than vaping an american juice tbh. Its not like american Companies, as well as Companies from other Places has not lied about whats in the juice... right? Like one of these "Premium ejuice" from Five Pawns as an example. So putting Down any asian juices because they simply dont have any regulations, i dont get.. It happens just as much in countries With these regulations it seems. Anyways, this is why i only buy one store bought juice, until i get the recipe for it spot on myself. Simply because i dont trust any juice vendors out there. None.. (no matter if they are Asian or american, or from Germany. They all stuup to the same Level anyways. They are all probably telling lies about whats in the juice).. That being said, i find it rather amusing that you think that american juices are better than the Malaysian juice.. hehe
Looks like a good recipe for apple butter. I had to adjust it a bit to work with what I have in my flavor stash. I'll have to come back and rate it after I've mixed it up and vaped it.

is there an alternative to RY4 Double or leave it out? I've never bought it because i thought it was a tobacco flavour. I realise now that it's a caramel, is there a sub do you think?
