I just ordered some cake batter CAP I only had vapor shots cake batter then I'll be able to more closely make the recipe. I have way too much pineapple to go buy more so my only options are LA pineapple two different bottles of that. And it's Not really a common ingredient I use often. So we'll see once my cake batter comes in Guna make another batch.

I have all the ingredients bar pineapple, but I do have Lemon. I'll do a mix following the recipe but using lemon instead and get back to you!

I ended up adding FW yellow cake and FA custard it has a lemon taste
And marshmellow for some sweetness and mouth feel. Going to let it steep for about a week. The original is good but it is missing something I like it don't get me wrong but I still wanted something else so we'll see if this batch is it. I also am still waiting on the original VC to come so I can make it with the original ingredients.

I've made this following the recipe except changing the pineapple for TPA Lemon. I've done it at 5% and the lemon taste is just there. I've boosted it to 7.5% for a more lemony taste.
It's quite a nice shake and vape, I hope it keeps improving as it steeps.

You could add extra NYC in place of it. I think they have similarities.
I'm not an expert mixologist but it's the route I'd go down given I don't know what else you have in your cupboard. Even better would be waiting a couple of days for your cake batter order to turn up on your doorstep, it's pretty good stuff if your tastes are that way inclined.

Thanks for the reply (i meant good not goos as you noticed ;) ) I was thinking about replacing it either with vanilla bean icecream (TPA) , Marshmallow (CAP), Vanilla Custard (TPA), or more of the one it already has, Cheesecake (LA) or Apple Pie (FA) (because it tastes more cake than anything else to me). Cake batter has a pretty distinct taste. Cheesecake may not taste bad but your not going to get the same flavor. Vanilla custard isn't even close, marshmallow is just a sweetener, and apple pie will change the flavor all together. Maybe cake (yellow) from tap might work but I can't think of anything else that has the "cake batter" taste.

Not sure what everyone else is tasting but after a two week steep I don't like it. I can't get the flavor out of my wick either. Thanks for sharing though. I love trying new juice.

@greenperson that's the beauty of vaping! There are so many choices out there. Sorry you didn't like it. Are there any tweaks you would make? So if someone try's this they can modify how you would and possibly love it.

Im not done with it yet. I made a 30ml so I'll give it another couple weeks in the pantry. If after that I still don't like it I'm sure I can give it to someone who will love it.

At first I didn't like this juice at all but I found myself reaching for it more & more. It grew on me slowly and now my 10ml is just about gone. This was the 1st recipe I made with cake batter and after using it another recipie @1% I realized I'm very sensitive to it.
Anyway this recipe is great! Just saying I will probably start at 0.5% cake batter when I make more & it won't be a 10ml :)

Close to the original but switch out TPA Graham Cracker for TPA Brown Sugar @ 3% and also add TPA Maraschino Cherry @ 1.5%. Side by side with the original after 48 hours can't tell the difference.

I have everything except grahm cracker and ny cheesecake but i have tpa cheesecake (grahm crust), should i go for it? not sure if i should just use my cheesecake grahm crust at 3% or 5%

I feel 0.5% fa lemon might be a good adaptive hear, lemon always helps low percentage fruits come along, or you could try fa pineapple as above, I'm going to make a few batches of this with some slight alterations ha,

jzerba2013, i tried to make this recipe few hours ago, but i change the recipe.. I dont have NYC and Graham Cracker but I do have CheeseCake (Graham Cracker) TPA and made one with that for 5% (i assumed i could combine those two for 1essence)... It would be okay if i change the recipe, but i wonder would it taste totally different from the original that you made...
For shake & vape i couldnt tell, the flavor seems mute and i cant barely taste anything, only hint of pineapple with a bit of cheesecake and less graham cracker.. How long should i steep it?? What's flavor should be expected from this recipe?? Creamy pineapple, pineapple cake (more cake flavor with hint of pineapple? Or cream vanilla cake with hint of pineapple?

I think the substitution of cheesecake graham crust could work, might be less of a cheesecake flavor though. If you have both cheesecake and ck graham crust I'd try that but obviously it won't taste the same but I highly doubt it would taste bad. The flavor is kind of subtle but you should def taste the pineapple with a hint of the creamy-ish crust undertone. It's been awhile since I've made this flavor tbh.

Well I just got this back out to finish the bottle off, it's been in the draw a few months now, have to say it's pretty killer like, it's the best pineapple vape I have tried to date, I like this much more than HIC'S pineapple upside down cake, I kinda like TPA pineapple, I might try it with FA pineapple at some point to compaire' but only out of curiosity as this is good to go IMO.

I would stick to TPA pineapple buddy.
Fa pineapple is terrible....
(Obviously this is just my opinion)
But just a heads up if you didn't already have it i wouldn't bother buying it...

Also... if you do use FA pineapple. Maybe think about some EM, Sweetener or even a little Marshmallow.
It is no where near as sweet as TPA.

I just read the flavour notes on DiyorDie for CAP Cake Batter and it's the same as a lot of people are saying that it's not a good flavour, nothing like cake batter and very plastic tasting.
Can anyone recommend any other cake batter to use ????

Capella cake batter is nice imo, I use it in some custard mixes, but u could try FW yellow cake, but it will be a touch sweeter, which isn't a bad thing, FW cake batter dip is nice as well, but that will add a bit frosting sugar to it as well, still I might try that myself for a change ha

@phillip if you would like a replacement for FA try TFA pineapple (juicy) it will not work in some recipes as a replacement due to it being much sweeter and juicier. but it is my favourite pineapple right now.
try out my 'JUICY PINGO' recipe I just posted and you will see how nice it can be.

@The_Ckemist ended up getting the CAP cake batter so I can now get mixing it. I use to really enjoy the original by Epic clouds hoping this is as good.
@jzerba2013 I only have the CAP Golden Pineapple and INW pineapple, any suggestions on using them ?? just CAP or maybe both ???

I made all flavors Capella, made it Golden Pineapple, made Max VG, and use Yellow Cake. I increased the pineapple to 2.5% because I like more pineapple. Thanks so much for posting this, it's super delicious!!!! I never would have thought of the cheesecake or graham crust but everything is so creamy and yummy!

Love Love Love.. I had to sun Cap Golden Pineapple as that and FA is what I have even after a 6 day steep it is great.. hope it lasts to see if it matures but not likely gonna have to make another so that one can steep longer.. GREAT Job 😀
