To give the juice the perfect balance in taste I recommend:
1. Mix in a glass bottle and give it a hot water bath for 15 minutes.
2. Mix and let your magnetic stirrer run for 15-30 minutes.
3. Mix, shake well and let it steep for 24 hours.
Your welcome! I also experimented by adding sweetener and acetyl pyrazine before I published the receip. It wasen't really mine... but taste is allways different and if you like it that way, perfect =)
I added some tfa clear graham cracker to my cart so I can make this as is also. :) I just really enjoy super sweet juice lol. This didn't last me a day. Going home and making a bigger bottle this evening. ;)
I made this in a 6 mg, 50/50 pg/vg on 3/26/17. It has only been steeping for a week and 1/2 while I finished a bottle of something else. This is so good! It is definitely a "make again. And again and again" recipe. Thanks!
Just tried this. Was looking for a clone of far strawberry cupcake and this is nearly there. Might add sweetner and try again but tastes great straight from the mix. You just saved me £6 a bottle thanks!!!
@Humpo12: That's right! I mixed nearly 20 versions of this juice. Experimented with sweetner, cream base, acetyl pyrazine and other strawberry flavors... Great that you found your personal fav on basis of the recipe =)
@MikeG: Thanks for your comment, because that fact is good to know for everyone. For me, personally, it's good after 24h. But longer steep makes it even better!
Hey, ISsticky! Glad you like the receipt. Sounds interesting! Did you use Capella Yellow Cake as a replacement for another flavor? How much did you add?
JuiceDude I add Cake(Yellow) FW at 2%. The first 60ml bottle I used to much. The second to little. So now 2% then maybe 2.5% of Cake depending how it is. Everything else is the same. Good right away but even better after a couple days of steeping. Not that I can wait that long!
@JuiceDude - Excellent job. Mixed 8/11/17 with exact flavorings listed in the recipe and just vaped today (five day steep) and I loved it. Will be mixing a couple bottles for friends. Thank you for sharing this!
Juicedude, I have shared this juice with some friends, everyone gives i t a 12 on a ten scale. You knocked it out of the park,...through the bus window and it's cruising down the intefstate.
Not a huge strawberry fan, but based on the reviews, I had to give this a try - I'm glad I did! I did tone the strawberry down to 2 ml/30ml (6.65%), but this is in my regular rotation for sure!
@JustMe: Thanks for your comment! If you still don't like the strawberry you're welcome to replace it with another fruit flavor. The recipe also tastes good with blueberry or dragon fruit instead of strawberry. Notice that especially blueberry need longer steep (3-7 days).
all good @juicedude...i made a batch of 30 ml for my wife and she love it. the only thing i do is lower the % of strawberry ripe from 8 to 5 and its awsome...thx
@juicedude both are fine and new. Idk what it was. I do think this juice needs a good steep. I might have dome vapors tongue to the creamy atuff too cause thats all ive been using
Very Yummy,a bit thick for me. Taste stays the same using 75% & 70%.
I've also tried as few variations, changing the % and types of Strawberry. Another very tasty variant; Drop the ripe S. to 5-6% and added (CAP) Sweet S. 2-3% and a few drops of (CAP)NY Cheesecake V2
In an earlier comment you suggested using Blueberry as a sub for the strawberry with a 3-7 day steep. Having no fewer than 8 different Blueberry flavors on hand. I wanted to ask which ones you've tried and more specifically which one ones you would suggest and if any other additives help the Blueberry.
I used graham cracker v2 capella it was good but may need to play around with the % of it. Gunna be a good base for other recipes as well i can definitely see caramel going with this and possibly butterscotc. Thanks 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
@ Hexa Braided Coils: Your variation sounds delicious and I'll try it myself soon. I have experimented a lot with Cap Sweet Strawberry, but only as a replacement for Ripe Strawberry and not both together. I used Cap Blueberry and 2% Sweetner to replace Ripe Strawberry. I'm sure some of you will like it, but it wasn't an ADV for me.
@Benoz: I have never tried Cap Graham Cracker V2 in this recipe, but I could imagine that you should get a good result if you take 3-4%. Whether caramel with strawberry works so well.... I don't think so. But as always, it is subjective! I had replaced the Vanilla Swirl for a batch of FA Butterscotch and it was not for me. Maybe it works with another butterscotch aroma...
Just mixed this up but had to sub the Graham Cracker as I don't have any , went for Cake(yellow) FW as it seemed a good fit for a cupcake recipe.
I'll report back when it steeped a little , thx for posting the recipe.
Great, simple recipe. Made 25ml and just burned through an entire 4ml tank in an hour. Very tasty strawberry vape. Interested to try it with yellow cake.
hey guys
why am i not feeling the strawberry ?!
should i add strawberry TFA or sweet Strawberry CAP with the ripe to improve it and the ripe doesn't mute ?!
thanks in advance
@miggykaimo: I also experimented with CAP Blueberry and it works quite well. However, you should let it mature longer. I would take 8 to a maximum of 10% as a replacement for TPA Ripe Strawberry.
This tastes close to Hometown Hero: Red Dream which is Kettlekorn + Strawberry Cream. Like Red Dream, this flavor combo seems to mute easily. To me it's popcorny and I like the flavor but neither really "pop".
I wouldn't likely mix this again without modifying it.
Hi @Cstober, thanks for your feedback. Tastes are different, of course, and that's a good thing. For me, the taste simply best meets a cupcake, hence the name. If you get a modification you like better, please post the link to the recipe here. Vape on, Vape safe
Hello. I mixed it last week and tried it immediately and the next day. I was kinda disappointed because the flavors was quite muted. Since then I shaked it every day. Today, a week later I tried it again.... Aaaaand booooom. Fantastic flavors, nothing is muted anymore perfect. I love it. I'll definitly mix more of it. 😂
Hi @liquid2vape, thanks a lot for your feedback! That is weird bro! Of course, the taste changes a bit with time, but after a week it has changed from lousy to really tasty.... I never had that personally. I'm all the more glad you like it now =) Vape on!
Thank you JuiceDude. I just checked again the ingredients I used. Exactly the same as in your recipe. I wouldn't say it tasted lousy at the beginning. Not at all. It was rather a weak flavor.
So just wanted to say to you all that I love this recipe. I've made 60ml and finished it and now made 120ml. @ 70/30 this juice is lovely strawberry vanilla cupcake flavor. Really simple and really tasty.
Awesome - Thanks a bunch.
I vape Nic-Salts only (30-50mg/ml) so I bumped the Strawberry Ripe to 12% and added 4% Super Sweet. Very enjoyable in a pod sys - best in the Wismec CB-60.
@Mr Salts THX a lot for your feedback and mixing recommendations for nic-salt users. Have you taken less of any of the other flavors, or actually just more ripe strawberry?
The nic-salts are a funny thing right now. I tried freebase nic vaping a couple years ago but I kept smoking cigarettes so I quit the vaping. The nic-salts are different and with them I was able to kick a 40 year 2+ pack a day smoking habit in less then 10 days. I'm pretty loyal to the nic-salts for that reason.
In the pod systems I find that I need to bump the berry flavors up a bit, but the creamy, nutty, and other bakery flavors come through good.
The Wismek CB-60 is nice and produces better flavors then the pod systems - I made another batch of this recipe just for the Wismek and used 10% Strawberry Ripe and only added 1% sweetener and it taste great. (Probably just adjusted for my taste)
The Wismek CB-60 was specially designed for MTL and nic-salts and is a traditional tank and mod system so it processes the flavors better then the pod systems are able to.
To me this seems more like a strawberry cheesecake vape ots with the graham crust being so high, the strawberry aslo seems to overpower the subtle flavors of the graham cracker. I might lower that strawberry or replace it with red touch at a lower % to see if that helps do it for me.
I made this in a 8mg. Used strawberry flv (red touch) and it worked out. Delicious! Will try the strawberry ripe when I get it in. It's super cakey, I love it.
thank you for sharing, i dropped strawberry to 6% and added 2% dragon fruit tpa as just a person preference with strawberry vapes will let you know how it turns out. So as it turns out I started mixing your recipe and i totally ended up altering it to something different. I decided to mix yours as it was and try them side by side. I will let you know how they both turn out lol.tjek.nu/r/yPCA
ok, i dont like strawberry ripe. i subbed for strawberry (TPA) and forgot about it for a few months. its fantastic thank you, i know have a new favorite.
Really good mix! The "muffiny-cake" taste of the cupcakes is on point. I personally use a slight alt of the strawberry tho. A 50/50 of TFA Strawberry Ripe & OSDIY Succulent Strawberry, (at the same recipe %) definitely helps the Strawberry flavor stick to the cake, and helps those of us who have a hard time tasting the Strawberry. Best Strawberry cupcakes I've had to date! Great job creating this one, Thank You!
Dude you nailed this one. Just made a 60ml batch at 70/30 with 2mg. 30min at 40°C on a heated stir plate.
Vaping it an hour later and it's banging, looking forward to seeing how it tastes with a bit of a steep.
