GREEN TEA KIT KAT
WARNING: THIS IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE

Brief Description: Like the name says, this is a Green Tea Kit Kat... Minus those pesky calories.

Steep Time: Great as S&V. Best after 2-3 days. None of the flavors really change during a steep, it just allows the green tea to cement itself in all layers of the mix.

Flavor/Development Notes:
Have you ever had a Green Tea Kit Kat? They are made with the usual kit kat wafers, however the frosting between the wafers is mixed with matcha, then its covered in white chocolate mixed with matcha instead of milk chocolate. These things are addicting. Like seriously addicting. After I started mixing, I knew I just HAD to make a vape that tasted like a Green Tea Kit Kat. I had done a bit of research on what’s actually in this amazing masterpiece out of Japan and decided that this couldn't be TOO hard to make a vape of but since I had little experience with tea flavors (aka zero experience), and I wasn't sure where to begin to achieve that right creamy white chocolate, I enlisted the help of u/ID10-T. Together we went through countless iterations. I tried a few different green tea and white chocolate flavors to see which would be the best. Trust me; this was not a fun task when it came to the Green Tea. Too many of them tasted like you bought the shittiest quality tea bag, then proceeded to boil it on the stove for a few hours. It was seriously torture going back and trying them again after a steep. AVOID FA Green Tea and thank me later. Let me tell you a little secret, I bought the wrong green tea when I made the purchase and boy am I glad I did. I accidentally purchased FE green tea instead of TFA. FE green tea is by far the best out there. It's the most underrated; actually it wasn't even rated, of all the teas. It’s why they took it off the market. But don't worry, THIS FLAVOR IS BACK, so you better buy that tasty flavor and sub it out in every recipe that calls for green tea. When it came to the white chocolates, I decided on TFA. I tried FW but it has a strong caramel note to me, plus it is very dry. Since the kit kat itself doesn't taste like caramel, FW wasn't going to work. TFA's on the other hand only has 1 flaw, it wasn’t creamy enough. Yes, it was spot on for taste and mouthfeel; it just was missing that melt in your mouth creaminess you expect from chocolate. This is when we worked on figuring out which creams to add to the mix. There were a few we thought about, but it came down to needing something that's light and not overpowering. Bavarian Cream was attempted, but it just really brought out that caramelization note in the white chocolate. Bavarian got the axe. After a bit of discussion with u/ID10-T, we went ahead and mixed up some TFA White Chocolate with CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream. If you have never tried CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream, GO GET IT IMMEDIATELY. Unlike some of the other whipped creams that exist, this one does not taste rancid for the first week. It never tastes rancid. It doesn't even really require a steep actually. Its light and it added exactly what we were looking for to the white chocolate. Next was figuring out the wafer. We considered biscuit, but to be honest, I am not a huge fan of biscuit. I think it takes over a mix too easily and it just wasn't quite right for this. We all know how much u/ID10-T loves CAP Sugar Cookie so I got a wild idea and threw it at him, sugar cookie in a low dose. Once we had the ingredients, it was trial and error on the percentages till it was as close as we could get it. The kit kat itself is slightly sweeter than the mix, but if you want to get the mix to that same level of sweetness, add a touch of sucralose and gunk up dem coils.

White Chocolate (TFA/TPA) 4.5%:
What can I say about this. This is a very important flavor, I mean it's the main note in the real green tea kit kat. This is the base of the mix. It helps tie everything together in all of its white chocolate deliciousness. Yeah it’s not as creamy as I would like it to be, but it's a pretty damn accurate white chocolate. There is just the slightest hint of caramel when mixed for standalone or mixed with other creams that bring it out, but in this mix, you don't detect any caramel which is great. It has excellent mouth feel and really helps bring this mix into an ADV.

Green Tea (FE) 0.7%:
This flavor plays the role of both the matcha in the white chocolate, and the matcha in the frosting between the wafers. A little goes a long way. I did a single flavor sample of this at 2% originally. It tastes like premium loose leaf tea steeped at 195 F for 30-60 seconds. My notes literally say "this is what green tea is supposed to taste like." In the mix, I tried it at 1% and while it was good, it was too strong. No off flavors of any kind, just stronger than the actual green tea in the kit kat. Between 0.625% and 0.725% is the sweet spot. Depends on just how much matcha flavor you are looking for. Go too low and it fades away, too high, while still good, it isn't as close to the actual kit kat.

PSA:
TFA Green Tea tastes like green tea with a little fresh-cut grass added to it.
FA Green Tea tastes like green tea with a little fresh-cut ASS added to it.
FE Green Tea tastes like high-quality fresh brewed matcha green tea with nothing added to it and nothing taken away from it. This flavor cannot be subbed for any of the other lesser flavors.

Vanilla Whipped Cream (CAP) 3%:
This flavor pulls double duty. Not only does it bring out the creaminess of the white chocolate, but it acts as the frosting between the wafers. It’s light and sweet and creamy.

Sugar Cookie (CAP) 1.5%:
This one actually does a bit of double duty too. Not only is it the wafer, but it also adds the extra sweetness needed for the frosting between the wafers. At a low %, it’s subtle, just like the actual wafer in the kit kat.

This is ID10-T from reddit, not an impostor. You're overstating how much help I actually provided in developing this recipe, but in no way overstating its addictive deliciousness. Easily in my top ten most favorite vapes ever. Thank you for this and thank ECX for agreeing to put FE Green Tea back on the menu so others can get hooked on it as well.

Yep...fallen even more in love with this recipe since my last post....I think it's definatlely a session Vape for me...takes several vapes to get acclimated to the green tea...but then it all blends perfectly ....I mean perfectly =;)
#13 by mikhask, Dec 11. 2016, 21:50
Going to sub FE Green tea for INW and see how it turns out? will grab the FE in the future, but really would like to try this profile.
Thanks for the recipe.
#14 by Preacher143, Dec 12. 2016, 15:19
Definitely will try. Thank you. And so awesome to see a great description. Well done !
#15 by ParkusMaximus, Jan 26. 2017, 06:42
I only have FW White Chocolate, would that be okay to use or do you absolutely need TPA?
#16 by ExclusiveGirl, Jan 26. 2017, 07:19
FWe won't be the same. I noticed it's a bit harsher and gives a more caramel note to the mix. Go ahead and try it, but tpa is better for this mix. I still need to do some testing with other white chocolates I recently got to see how they play with it. If I find one that works better, I will post an update.
#17 by Keww111, Jan 28. 2017, 18:15
Oh I don't know, I just made a bottle yesterday but all I could get was solub arome green tea. I'm not getting anything like what I think I should be tasting. It was a 35/65 mix at 6mg. Doesn't taste very nice and is quite harsh on the throat. Have I made a huge mistake with my green tea? Can't find FE green tea anywhere in the uk.
#18 by ExclusiveGirl, Jan 28. 2017, 18:19
FE green tea is a rebranded flavor from China but I don't know which one. Green tea isn't an easy flavor to work with since most are too grassy or like a floral perfume. This recipe shouldn't be harsh at all so ifar u want to try to get closer to the correct green tea, you can either try some Chinese flavors or buy FE green tea from ecigexpress.com which does ship internationally... just gonna be expensive for shipping.
#19 by Keww111, Jan 28. 2017, 20:32
Thanks for the reply. I tried ecig express but they only accept credit card. Which I don't have.ill make a 3mg batch to see if that mellows it.
#20 by ParkusMaximus, Feb 18. 2017, 17:53
I don't know what I did but I'm not getting anything but the green tea, I mix by weight and used the exact same flavorings and the same
Nicotine dilution but after 3 days it's just this green tea, I don't know what I did? Sucks because i fucking love the green tea kit kats
#21 by deadmau5whomp, Feb 27. 2017, 09:38
Parkus, same here i think i am going to cut the green tea down to .65
#22 by Juntot, Mar 1. 2017, 22:18
Hi I'm just new, I also made this recipe today using TFA green tea, and did it with 0% nicotine, so far the green tea is overpowering the other ingredients, i hope after steeping the other flavors will blend with the green tea.

About the 0% nicotine, do you think t is essential to add it? Will it ruin the taste if I will not add nicotine.

I'll keep you posted. thanks!
#23 by ExclusiveGirl, Mar 1. 2017, 23:05
@Juntot Tfa green tea is not the same at all for this mix. It tastes too much like grass. The nicotine won't affect the taste unless you are putting it at a higher mg. Since you are going 0mg, you should be good to go.
#24 by Juntot, Mar 5. 2017, 10:55
Thanks, you are correct TFA green tea taste like grass, too bad I can't find Green Tea FE i my area. It is my 4th day of steeping, so far it's just green tea and sugar cookie, I do not taste the white chocolate when I vape it.

I have another Flavor Substitute that could have made ruined my mix, I also used Simply Vanilla CAP and Whipped Cream TFA to replace your recommended Vanilla Whipped Cream CAP.
#25 by drhonk, Mar 6. 2017, 05:54
@Juntot @ExclusiveGirl will lower the percentage a little with TFA Green Tea helps? I also couldn't find FE around, will have to sub it with a different brand.
#26 by ExclusiveGirl, Mar 6. 2017, 06:39
FE green tea is the best one. Order it from ecigexpress.com if u can. It's a rebranded Chinese flavor but I don't know which Chinese manufacturer. Hope that helps. Tfa just doesn't work.
#27 by drhonk, Mar 6. 2017, 10:20
@ExclusiveGirl Yayy I think I found a rebranded super concentrates green tea which I believe based on what I read on reddit is the same as FE, I'm ordering that now.
#28 by Chris, Mar 14. 2017, 11:18
Hi! @exclusivegirl That recipe sound sooo good. I ordered from ecigexpress yesterday, the shipping costs almost killed me (40 bucks to Austria O.o; but I ordered lots of flavors) I hope this turns out as great as expected. Thanks for this recipe!

@drhonk: Please let us know how you like this rebranded green tea flavor!
#29 by gorman, Mar 17. 2017, 15:17
As a lover of White Chocolate I had to try this. On Reddit I noticed the shake & vape note and tried it fresh. It was ok, not great. More than half of the 30ml I prepare where later vaped by my wife. She wasn't enthusiast about it too.

Today, as in "liquids are ending, time to mix but I don't feel like it, let's finish what's already there" I decided to try it again. More or less one month after preparing and...

Oh My God!!! This is delicious! Vaping it on a bottom fed Hadaly this is something truly special. Thanks so much for sharing.

I didn't have FE Green Tea, so I substituted it with 0.5% of TPA Green Tea and 0.2% of CAP Sweet Tea. Maybe this changed the steeping needed. Don't know how your original recipe would be but this is a nectar! THANK YOU!

Too bad now the bottle is empty and I'll need to wait. But now I know the wait will be worth it. :)
#30 by ParkusMaximus, Mar 18. 2017, 02:32
So today I went to world market and as fate may have it a bag of green tea kit kats stared at me right as I walked in. I tried this recipe before and wasn't too pleased with it but after eating the entire bag in under an hour, I was encouraged to give it a go again. Whilst still using the same flavors from the same companies, I decided to lower the FE Green Tea to .5% as when I tried the original .7% it was overpoweringly just green tea and when I tried .65% it made very little difference. Additionally, I added 1% CAP Super Sweet in one bottle and .5% CAP Super Sweet in another. I'm going to let these steep for around two weeks, as I noticed after about a week or two the original recipe began to change color from a clear juice to a light amber juice. Maybe the addition of super sweet will somehow blend everything together and I am almost tempted to add maybe .5% FA Joy to the mix just to see if it blends even better, or perhaps maybe a drop or two of MTS Vape Wizard in a future mix if this doesn't satisfy.
#31 by drhonk, Mar 18. 2017, 08:02
@Chris It's delicious, definitely much better than TFA green tea like @ExclusiveGirl stated. I thought I got a wrong one as the essence has almost like jasmine tea smell to it. Look at your local essence store that sells different type of tobacco flavors like FE and I'm almost 95% sure whatever brand they have it's a rebrand of the same essence as FE. I hope that helps.
#32 by drhonk, Mar 21. 2017, 06:22
What would be the best solution to add a little bit more sweet to this. I'm thinking about adding 1% of marshmallow, maybe @ExclusiveGirl or other can chime in for suggestion?
#33 by Chris, Mar 25. 2017, 05:39
Got my flavors yesterday, and started mixing immediately. Tried shake 'n vape but it was harsh in the throat and tasted mostly like green tea. I let it sit with cap open over night. Tastes better today, but i think it will take some more time. Can't wait, this juice has potential!
Weird but delicious ;)
.
BTW if you are european like me and you dont have a problem taking a loan on your house for the shipping costs, order from ecigexpress. It only took 9 days to arrive. My package took a rest at the customs office for 3 days so it was really fast!
#34 by ke-vinci, Mar 26. 2017, 05:59
mixed as per your recipe apart from the FE Green Tea. I used BE (BestEcig) Green Tea at the same % (haven't tried FE but i would bet my brothers left testicle BE is equally as good haha) and really a very good SnV and a tad better after a few days.

I had only 5 recipes that i could enjoy as an ADV after trying hundreds of recipes and this one makes no.6.

thanks for the share and all your hard work getting the brands and numbers right.
#35 by Chris, Mar 26. 2017, 13:03
I tried it open draw directly after mixing in my mad hatter dripper and it was to harsh for me even on the next day.

So I tried the liquid today in my gem2 (at 17watt -tc) and boom! Wow its not harsh and I REALLY like it (this atomizer has a smaller airflow and a very small vapor chamber, so liquids taste very intensive). I may tweak it a little, maybe a little sweeter and more white chocolate...

Thanks again
#36 by ke-vinci, Apr 2. 2017, 07:04
had some HIC's Creamsicle (3% FA Mandarin, 1.5% FA Vienna Cream) left in my Köre (maybe 7 >8%) when i switched to GTKK... the orange cream is a really nice addition!
#37 by drhonk, Apr 19. 2017, 03:54
I mixed this at the same time with 2 other flavors using the same nicotine (RTS), same strength (3%). After enough steep time, this the only flavor that has some TH that's different with the other two (smooth). Nothing wrong with it, is just baffled me why I got a different TH experience with this mix only. Anyone experience the same thing?
#38 by ThePzy, Apr 20. 2017, 22:35
Unique profile for this recipe, FE green tea is really good, floral like Jasmin flavor.
After testing this recipe, all i can say is that it's an addictive one ^^
I failed with testing all recipe that contain White chocolate, this one is a killer.
Thx for the recipe, i should have tried it a long time ago :-)
#39 by xalBBlax, Apr 29. 2017, 21:32
Fantastic recipe, made exactly as written and added 1.5% sweetener (I have a sweet tooth). Love the depth and layering, definitely an ADV....if you haven't mixed and tried this you need to...I ordered all the flavors and it was beyond my expectations. Thx Exclusive Girl
#40 by ThePzy, May 3. 2017, 20:58
After vaping my 30ml test bottle, i confirm it's a great recipe, only negative point : taste is very weak, doesn't stay a long time in mouth....maybe not enought stong flavor !
Anyway, great recipe, very smooth !!! :-)
#41 by RaGCaR, May 23. 2017, 01:04
So how close to a regular KitKat would this be, without the green tea?
#42 by RaGCaR, May 23. 2017, 01:06
So how close to a regular KitKat would this be, without the green tea?
#43 by ExclusiveGirl, May 23. 2017, 01:07
Regular kit kat is made with milk chocolate, the green tea kit kat is made with white chocolate. If you left out the green tea, it becomes a white chocolate kit kat.
#44 by RaGCaR, May 23. 2017, 03:22
Interesting.
#45 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Jun 1. 2017, 02:00
What would you recommend on how to make a Nice Sweet Creamy White Chocolate Recipe, I Used 4.5% White Chocolate TFA and 3% of the Vanilla Whipped Cream by Capella from this recipe, and this is a very nice flavor, but it seems to be missing something, What would you recommend? Please let me know your thoughts, Im just really looking for a bangin ass White Chocolate Recipe, this one is close but not quite there id say its 90% right now, hopefully with some steep time it will do what I want it to, but in you mixing of the White Chocolate did you find a different percentage that would work great for a White Chocolate Recipe?????
#46 by ExclusiveGirl, Jun 1. 2017, 02:57
Add some marshmallow to it. It will sweeten it, add a bette mouth feel and more wetness. I recently added .75% FA marshmallow to the original mix and it def improved it.
#47 by Josh's2hi4U2C, Jun 1. 2017, 03:06
Thankyou so much ExclusiveGirl, I really appreciate the Tip
#48 by ExclusiveGirl, Jun 1. 2017, 03:53
No prob! Josh
#49 by James River, Jun 10. 2017, 21:29
I used medicine flower white chocolate at a lower % came out great thank you for the awesome recipe
#50 by ExclusiveGirl, Jun 10. 2017, 21:51
What % did u use and was urs diluted?
#51 by James River, Jun 10. 2017, 23:20
ExclusiveGirl its from Ecigexpress under the lotus brand not sure if its diluted but I used it @ 2% I've used medicine flower before and it does not seem diluted
#52 by ExclusiveGirl, Jun 10. 2017, 23:53
Sorry I meant did you dilute it since it's so potent. I diluted all my mf flavors. At some point I will mix with mf and compare. Its been awhile.
#53 by James River, Jun 11. 2017, 00:03
No I just readjust most recipes when I use a stronger brand of concentrate most times I start at .25% and go up from there made 4 test batches @10ml starting at .25 then went up 1-1.5% good as Well but 2% was my sweet spot
#54 by Blankflyer, Aug 4. 2017, 16:13
Tried this recipe as it is with .75% tfa marshmallow added for sweetener and it was absolutely amazing. Well done.
#55 by Saifer, Sep 18. 2017, 07:11
@ExclusiveGirl add marshmallow by FlavourArt?
#56 by ExclusiveGirl, Sep 18. 2017, 09:39
Yes @saifer, try it with FlavorArt or TFA or whatever marshmallow you prefer. A lot of them are really similar at such low %. You really aren't using it much for its flavor, just enough to add a little more sweetness and up the wet mouth feel a bit. The original recipe isn't dry but i like my vapes to feel a bit wetter. I mixed up 500ml of this the other night with the 0.75% FA marshmallow cause I enjoy it so much. I literally vape this every day and only sometimes vape other things. I prefer it at a higher watt too cause the green tea seems much harsher as a low watt. No clue if it does that for other ppl tho. But thx to vaping in the 145 to 165 range, I go thru a ton of juice.
#57 by juicedude, Sep 21. 2017, 22:33
Going to make this tonight! Sounds interesting. I was wondering how strong the flavor is, I usually like a lot of flavor..probably shouldn't go up the same percentage for each? Under 10 is rarely enough for me unless the flavors r really strong.
#58 by Pisces, Oct 9. 2017, 13:11
@ExclusiveGirl completely agree with you about it being addictive. Lovely job on getting the balance right and thank you.Mixed as suggested, but like some others, I far prefer FW White Chocolate. Now for the FA Marshmallow version.
#59 by hustler 13, Nov 11. 2017, 01:54
Hey all I mixed this up as recipe and to be honest I find it a bit subtle for my tastes. Has anyone mixed it at a higher total percentage of flavour ? What % and how did it turn out ?
#60 by ExclusiveGirl, Nov 11. 2017, 09:10
What watt are you vaping at?
#61 by hustler 13, Nov 11. 2017, 13:41
About 55 on my single coil tank and 80 on my dual dripper
#62 by gorman, Nov 11. 2017, 14:51
Without knowing the kind of coils one's using, wattage is pretty much irrelevant. Temperature is a more correct indicator, IMHO. With the coils I use, for instance, 80W for duals would translate into burnt ejuice every single time. :)
#63 by hustler 13, Nov 11. 2017, 15:30
The reason I ask about % is because all my other juices (mainly custards and creams) taste fine in both tank and dripper with a +-10w range and this recipe just seemed very subtle.
