While the original Glory Pie is tasty after a few days of steeping, I was still missing some more punch of the flavors. I added Bananas Foster and upped the crust and the cream.
NOW we are talking! Thanks for the kind help from the creator of the original recipie!
Its a pleasure COPi. You are definitely on to something here!
Dont have BF (yet) but just made a batch with 5% PC, SC at 3% & added BC at 2.5%. Left the RB at 1 % & I look forward to adding some BF to the next batch!
After 48hrs, I can say the extra PC & creams are a big improvement.Tasty! only prob is I'm NEVER gonna get to taste it fully steeped!
So my BF arrived yesterday. I threw 1% into the modified glory pie I mixed last week & OMG this shit is the bomb! Brilliant additions COPi !! The BF rounds off the RB beautifully with out making it any stronger. It adds a subtle caramelly sweetness too... Inspired! Truly Glorious Pie!
Thanks COPi.
Very glad to hear you enjoy it, I'm having it too, right now. Made a 100 ml batch now so it has a chance to finally get some steeping XD ... Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you for the recipe :)
BTW my juice turn murky/opaque/cloudy/not clear is it normal?
it was a clear solution. until I mix it with VG.
but still the juice tasted awesome. thanks again.
the cloudiness is from the ripe banana. made this recipe without BF on 22/7/2016. taste getting better as it steeps.cant wait after 2 weeks steep! thanks again COPi !
Well COPi you have done a fabulous job, that little tweak you made to this recipe is great. It is great as a s&v and is even nicer after a few days. I have a banana cream pie that I made and would really like to know your opinion on. So next time you are feeling like some banana hop on over to my recipes and whip you up some (monkey pie) and let me know what you think please.
I mixed a 30 ml of this yesterday because I only had TPA Banana Cream but it's still pretty delicious, so when I order again, I'll be getting the Ripe and the Foster and making this as it's meant to be. Write, I already love it as is, and with like an 18hr steep lol. Thanks for the recipe, and extended thanks @vonTrueso for laying the foundation for it.
