Winner!!
Works well as a shake n vape but excellent 24hrs later & it continues to improve.
Simple, smoooth & delicate - nicely balanced with nothing overpowering.
After the first mix, I was expecting the RB to fall away a bit, but it didnt - 1% spot on IMO.
Please tell me what you think.
Just mixed this up and its a pretty good vape. Ripe banana always smooths out after time so will only get better with time. I imagine substituting out ripe banana with banana cream could make it an awesome shake-n-vape and sweeten it up. Will try it out and call it "Sweet Glory Pie" and give you credit if it comes out good. (hope you don't mind)
5 Stars given
This seems to be very low doses of flavors. I made it and tried it but I can't taste much... Can't say it's a good shake and vape. Truly hope it turns more intense with steeping because it smells delicious!
Dont know why you cant taste much @COPi... yep, low %ages but solid flavor for me! If you can be bothered, try doubling (or even tripling) the %ages because unfortunately, it wont become more intense with steeping (- well, it didnt for me) ...but it will become smoother. You're right about it's s & v qualities tho - not such a good s & v - much better after a couple of weeks. I hope you can make it work!
Thanks for your answer. I will try two things: a) add 0,5% Ethyl maltol i.e. cotton candy and b) let it sit for another two weeks. Will post the results! Cheers!
Personally, I wouldnt ad EM... it is known to mute flavors. IMO, ad more of what you cant taste (which seems to be everything). That said, I'll be interested to hear how you go with it.
OK.. its been about 8 weeks since i last had any Glory Pie. Ive just vaped a tank of it after 2 months of heavier flavors & can say that while I can taste it (& its good!), the flavor aint as...well..robust as I recall.
So perhaps there's your problem @COPi ...it is intended to be a subtle flavor, but if you're used to more full-on flavor, perhaps youre just not going to get it at these %ages.
So, 2 recommendations... vape less intense juice for a couple of days until your taste buds settle down, or, up the %ages.
Having just tooted a tank, I can say I dont believe EM will help you. However, if youve already added it, dont worry... up all the %ages anyhow (double should be heaps). The EM will make it a bit sweeter than intended, but that may suit you. Good luck.. let us know how you go.
So I didn't add EM but Bananas Foster and almost doubled crust and cream. Tasty man, tasty :). Some need it a little more rough ;). Thanks for the help, find the adapted recipie here: e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/635505/A+Tribute+To+Glory+Pie
Thx for your comment chyde777- glad you're enjoying it!
But, you might be interested in this... I recently made a batch using COPi's recommendations (see the link above) except instead of taking the sweet cream up to 6%, I added 3% bav cream. I can tell you the extra cream, pie crust & the addition of bananas foster absolutely makes this juice! I suggest you give it a whirl nxt time.
Mixed this tonight as is. As a shake n vape this is already impressive. It's simple crust over the banana comes out perfectly. I can hardly wait to check it tomorrow night. Thanks von Trueso.
LOL vonTrueso If you only knew. I mixed 30 ml. Trusting the ratings and wasn't let down. i'm about to mix another bottle now. It's amazing. The pie crust was prominent last night but tonight the creamy banana is on point.
Now I hear the that the Banana Ripe fades away with time, so @vonTrueso did you experience that? did you try to up the flavours and see it would suit this phenomenon
G'day biso. I was initially concerned about this too but found it not to be an issue. I should point out that I did intend the banana to be subtle in the mix but you bight find you want a bit more of a nana hit. I'd recommend going with the recipe as is.. steep for a week and see what you think.
Thanks vonTrueso for your reply.
I tried it as SNV, The banana is intense, and a bit harsh, which I know will mellow down, so initially for me the banana doesn't need to be increased, I'm asking about your experience afterwards, with extended steep, does it actually fade, so if I intend to leave it for some time, would it be better to make it 1.5% or 2%
From my experience biso, the flavor doesn't fade. It needs a good steep to settle down (as you've discovered)- at least a week but I think you'll find it to be nice & mellow after 2-3. In my subjective opinion you shouldn't need more RB than is prescribed. If you find that you do, I'd be adding a little (1-1.5%) banana cream. This will be less harsh than the RB. I hope you enjoy it biso.
